Reliable USB drive for Music in Vehicles
These drives work great. I have 3 of them and use for MP3's for my vehicles. You need to format them as Fat32 and they worked just fine in my Mercedes, Tacoma and Jeep Wrangler without issue. They are low profile so are well hidden. The storage size is perfect for it's intended usage. One thing to keep in mind with these drives, due to being low profile they have little to no cache. So when you are copying large files, say 10GB of data, it will write to the drive then pause at 0kbs due to the internal cache filling up and writes again. So a 10GB set of data could take 2 - 5 hours to write to this drive. It is better to move your folders in small batches. I copy 3 - 5 folders at a time around 1GB or less and have no issue. As for the lifetime of these drives, I've had the one in my Mercedes for 3 years with no issue. The one in my Tacoma for 1 year and just a few months in my Jeep. Neither has failed.

Adequate for a few media files; be sure you don't get one too large for your device (32GB)
There are many reviews complaining these don't work in embedded devices, but they're using 64+ GB disks. I specifically chose these 32GBs as the upper-limit to the CD player in the car. Write speed is low as others will mention. Some day 1MB/s, I see more than that but I see a bunch of big writes and big pauses. This is NOT the worst flash drive I've ever owned for write speed. It will be slower than uploading something, yes. Speed will go up and down inconsistently. Be sure to only let 1 thing write at a time, pause other copies or wait or use a file copy manager. See pic for what not to do, see up and down graphs. Putting this in a Kenwood CD player, on Shuffle All (shuffle folder & track), skips "instantly" to the next track, like quicker than a CD changing track. This is sufficient read speed for a few MP3s. I can't speak to the fake capacity issues others are having, I've written 29GB to this without noticing an overwrite loop yet. I can't speak to longevity, but I appreciate the other reviewers mentioning short-term failure. I'll be sure to use these for recreational things only, not as backups.

These are legit. I do worry about losing them, they're to tiny and look exactly like USB dongles.
I didn't know this form factor even existed and bought them mostly out of curiosity. They do the job and they're something James Bond could use when he's downloading someone's data. Apart from that there's no native way to label them so if that's important to you you'll have to improvise. It's hard to fathom how something so little can house so much data.

Work fine on RAV4 vehicle USB port
mini size, fast speed, stay cool ... what else do you still need from a USB drive just for playing MP3 songs in the car?

Serious issues when used with Mp3/AV
I've used these for AV and music. Three out of the five have had issues when playing files and were not reliable. Two were used for MP3s in cars. Both has files which, during playback, had files which had screeching sounds (like on old school cassette tape when the tape was forwarded while in playback). The original files did not have issues, nor were there issues with jump drives made other manufacturers. The third was plugged into my Roku TV to record and playback of live content. In this scenario, the playback frequently stopped due to the TV not being able to play the file it had just recorded. Buyer beware.

Good price for right-size storage
Audio player wants max size 32 Gb memory, so these fit perfectly. Ultra-small size takes up little storage room. Slight downside was that they seemed not to flow data very fast during writing, but it is a good trade-off for the very reasonable price for 5 units. 32 Gb each yield very usable storage for audiobooks and music for my audio player.
