Review: Doesn't leak when shut - This water bottle arrived as expected and fits the bill for a water bottle to travel in a gym bag, the car or a back pack. It is the basic design where the spout needs to be pulled up to open the hole at the top to be able to drink from. When the top part is shut, I have not had any leaking. It will most definitely leak out if the top part is not shut. It does not require a ton of force to open the top so it is relatively easy to open (I appreciate this as I 100% open this with my teeth everytime; unless you're my dentist, then I would never do that). It is average sized.
