My old harness Velcro fastened under her belly and she's a long hair who's gained a little weight with age so I needed a replacement that was easier to put on her. I rarely write reviews but I love this harness so much I needed to share my thoughts with other pet parents. I bought the medium and it fits my 14.5 lb cat perfectly. It's so easy to put on her. Also there's a fastener clip under the D rings making it very secure. This also makes the leash stays on top of her. She did spook once putting this harness to the test and she didn't stand a chance of escaping. The mesh allows air circulation so she doesn't get too hot. If you're trying to decide on a new harness, I highly recommend giving this one a try. I love it and my cat does too.

I bought another harness previously and my cat hated it but then I saw this one and decided to try again. When I first put this one on him (so much easier than the other one) he laid down but then he walked around with it on and seemed very comfortable in it. Now I put it on him every evening for an hour or two and then we take a mini walk through the house so he can get adjusted to the leash too. Tonight was his best yet! I didn't even have to pull on him to follow me...I just kept talking to him and he followed me. So cute...wish I would of had my cell phone in my hand so I could of taken some pics. Anyway, I am so surprised that he has done this well...repetition is everything!! We have not gone outside yet but as soon as we have some nice weather, we will try that in my privacy fenced backyard and see how it goes!! My guy is around 13 pounds so I got the large one and it fits him great!! UPDATE: We did finally make it outside and I'll be danged if he didn't slip the harness and run straight to the backdoor. At least he didn't try to hide somewhere in my yard. I am so disappointed...he did so well walking on it when we were in the house. It fit him perfectly...I even tried a medium to see if that would keep him in the harness but it did not. I don't know if there is a harness that can contain a cat. I am sad that this didn't work for him because I think he would of loved to go for short walks but I can't take that chance since this happened. I love how this harness is made and he was perfectly content to wear it around the house for hours at a time. Maybe going outside overstimulated him...I may get brave and try again in my privacy fenced backyard just to see. I thought he would love walking in the grass and smelling the air...cats are definitely different than dogs!!

I received this cat halter and tried it on my cat. Unfortunately, my cat did not like the halter. However, my other cat did not mind the halter at all, and I can comfortably take him for a walk!

Soft and helps calm cat, or they just don't want to be vulnerable while in it. It fits well, love that it goes on easily, but my girl can slip out of with ease. Good to ware around the house if a cat is agitated or need monitoring, but I don't recommend it for outdoor use.

I got this as somewhat of a joke. My wife is scared of letting our cat out cuz she doesn’t want animals or cars getting him.My cat was mean, would bite people and was just a grumpy cat. He only liked me in the family and it would break my wife’s heart cuz she just wanted the cat to love her. He did not.I put this vest on him and the cat immediately changed. He became sweet and nice. A completely different cat. He started laying with my wife every night on the couch - my wife is in heaven.I intended on leaving the vest on him for a week and then trying to put leash on to walk him. Within the first 3 days I had leash on him and was walking him outside.Since then we kept the vest on him for a couple months. A week ago we took his vest off and he’s still being sweet.The vest legit made my cat a better cat!!!

My cat, a squirmy kitty if ever there was one, has done her best to wriggle out of many harnesses. This is the first one that she has not managed to get off on her own. I think the combination of the back velcro and the *double* rings to put the leash through make a difference from other cat harnesses we have tried. I am really please with this product! ( The wriggly cat, not so much )

I’m getting ready to take a multi-state trip with my animals, including my Maine coon Milton. He’s never been on a road trip and I really wanted to do everything I could to keep him safe so I got this harness. (Of note, he’s never worn a harness before) He is a Maine coon so he’s pretty chill in general but I wasn’t sure how the harness thing would work out. He was fine. It’s easy to get on and off, it’s very BRIGHT which I think is good, my husband thinks he looks like a road construction member. It seems sturdy enough. I’m pretty happy with this purchase so far.

I have a pretty big cat, and ordered the proportioned size that would best fit him. It was a tight fit surprisingly, and even more surprising is he started slipping out of the harness. It didn't seem too comfortable on him and when wearing it he didn't want to move or walk. Even if I mainly bought for the bright color, I was also hoping the harness would work out successfully and unfortunately that wasn't the case. I went through a grand total of 3 harnesses before finally finding one that worked out well.Careful-even if a comfortable fit and applied correctly it's possible your cat could slip out of it. I'm not too confident in this harness, that's why it was returned.
