**Q: Can this be used fir a base coat for an automotive lacquer paint?**
A: It can on a prepped painted surface.
But if your dealing with bare metal I would suggest a self etching primer for better results

**Q: Will it bond with automotive urethane paint?**
A: Yes

**Q: Will this work underneath a one part polyurethane boat paint?   I want to use it on my aluminum StarCraft boat to fill some bare spots prior to painti**
A: Your bigger issue will be any over spray on any painted area(s).
The primer will "bite" the bear metal. but will likely peel off any painted surface causing blisters.
You may want to consider stripping the original finish off first.

**Q: is this enamel paint?**
A: I don't know, but I got it for priming galvanized steel in preparation for enamel top coat.
