Deep River Snacks Original Sea Salt Kettle Cooked Potato Chips, 2 Ounce (Pack of 24)

I have ordered these 3 times and ready to order another box soon. They are always fresh and delicious. I like the nutritional content and buy the 2 oz bags. I only have 1/2 oz on a given day to stay within my keto plan and it keeps me on track. The customer service is great as well. My very 1st box a few years ago had the wrong flavor and they immediately sent out the correct flavor and told me to keep what they sent. Best chips in my opinion.

Chips great, company stands behind quality of product

I saw these chips in a New York Times potato chip taste test. They were spot on in terms of crispness, salt level and lack of greasiness. I bought a case and had friends taste testing. One person thought they were too salty and everyone else loved them. I'm glad I can only buy them online thereby limiting how much I buy and consume.

I had these chips at a cafe while I was on a trip, and I liked them so much I tried to buy them when I got home. I couldn't find them anywhere locally, so I was happy to see that Amazon sells them. However, they have a pretty short shelf life: the set I got was marked "best by" 3 months after purchase, and Amazon customer service told me that the 2-3 month window is typical of this product. I would prefer to have the 1-oz bags, just to keep from eating too many, but since they only sell those in a pack of 80, it's a bit much for one person to eat in 2-3 months. If you have a big group of people who will eat them, or if you can handle the larger bags without losing your mind and eating more than one serving at a time, as I often do, then I recommend them. I'm taking off one star for the narrow options for buying the 1-oz packages.

Love these chips! They are kettle crunchy and the right amount of salt!

UPDATE: Still my favorite chips! Yes, I've tried a few other brands. But these really do have the best flavor (they taste like potatoes! What a concept!). I like them so much that I have them on subscribe & save. I think I've finally found the perfect "kettle-cooked" chips. The Original Sea Salt chips are absolutely the best I've tasted so far (and I think I've tried virtually every chip available either online or in my local supermarkets. These are crispy, perfect golden color, and, most important to me, NOT TOO SALTY! The perfect amount of sea salt makes these tasty but not "drying." There are only three ingredients used: potatoes, sea salt, and sunflower oil. That's it. No preservatives, nothing else. Yummy! The case I purchased has a long expiration date -- 3.5 months from the date of purchase gives me enough time to consume these before they exceed their "best buy" date (yes, I know their consumable after that date, but it's nice that these are on the "fresh" side). I also appreciate that they donate 10% of their profits to organizations that affect them directly. Will definitely purchase these again! Really tasty, not too much salt -- solid 5 stars. I love them!

Great chips, kettle cooked but not greasy in the least. 2 oz. Bag is great Bypass the vending machines!!

Chips taste great. Not too salty or oily and quite crisp. I'd give this 5 stars but there was a defect in 4 out of 12 bags (8oz bags) in the case. All 4 were completely opened, not sealed at all. The chips weren't stale but it is concerning to eat out of opened bags. Can't return them either.
