Amazing results! I have had psoriasis on my scalp really bad since I was in middle school and it’s worsened as I’ve gotten older and it’s on my face, ears, shoulders and body. Normal medicated shampoos either did nothing or took months to do very little. The only thing that really helped was a liquid topical prescription. This was later replaced with a cream instead! That was fun, applying a thick cream on my entire scalp daily! Not only impractical but would leave my hair looking greasy and unwashed not to mention worked like a magnet for fuzz, pet hair and lots of other crap. I eventually used neutrogena tar shampoo. This stuff cleared it up completely. Stunk like hell but worked! I used it 3 times a week (and leave it on much longer than directed) for about 2-3weeks and weekly to maintain. I was totally satisfied with this! Until I found this. Honestly I couldn’t find the neutrogena and was in a hurry and just said f••• it, can’t be worse than other crap I’ve paid way too much for in the past. I’m glad I did because literally after my second use my scalp, ears, neck, shoulders and forehead is completely cleared up. No more flaky and itch head that threatens to take the last strips of my sanity. It still stinks just as bad (honestly reminds me of when my horses are having their hooves trimmed 🤷‍♀️) it also strips the dye from your hair. This doesn’t bother me as I shampoo with other stuff afterwards and the smell is gone the use a color conditioner to keep my hair color. But OMG it works so well n so fast! You use it on dry hair on the effected area and let it sit for 20 minutes to 1 hour. I usually do about 30 minutes but probably use more than I need to after that once or twice a month n i don’t have any issues. so a little goes a long way so the price is extremely fair. It also works on your body as well. I don’t wash my whole body with it only on spots where it’s needed. The photos don’t should it very well. But you can see it in my hair at the hairline area on the first picture. Imagine that on my whole head and thick n hard as well m. Second picture obviously it’s all cleared up.

I love this shampoo! Along with the other products in my routine, it has made a huge difference for my scalp psoriasis. My scalp feels healthier, less irritated, and much more manageable. I’m very happy with the results!

My dermatologist suggested I use this, and I have done so every day for over ten years to treat seborrheic dermatitis. I wash my face, head (I used it when I had hair too, hehe), neck and chest with it, no other treatments or medications. My hair was fine with it back in the day, wore and styled just fine. Lathers nicely, rinses clean, treats the problem very well. I don’t travel without a small bottle. Shoulders up, it’s my only soap/shampoo.

The shampoo is good with lathers a lot. I use it twice since and I see less flaking in my scalp. It’s not thick but it goes a long way. It smells like some medication.

My doctor recommended for me and it's the best. I had tried other brands and they didn't come close. My husband noticed the change as soon as I walked in the room.

I have lived with the scourge of psoriasis/ eczema on my scalp from birth! Throughout the years, my dermatologist would prescribe all kinds of topicals. These only stung but did nothing to stop the redness, the plaques, and the flaking. I went to Amazon in a desperate search to find something that would end the insane itching and embarrassment of this condition, but until I found TARSUM, nothing was effective. The first time I used TARSUM, I followed the directions and applied pinpoint (thanks to the design of the bottle’s cap) application to the back of my scalp (the area that has the worst of the affliction, going from ear to ear). Then, I rubbed it all throughout my scalp. Then I placed some of the product to my fingertip and applied it to the inside and outside of each ear, both of which are also affected by the condition. In the shower, I rinsed the solution out of my hair, applied regular shampoo and conditioner, and then styled my hair as usual. After the first use, I felt a marked difference. I know there’s no cure for this condition, but it sure felt like I’d been cured. I used the product every day for 5 days. I don’t normally shampoo every day, but I felt that to get the maximum benefits in controlling the symptoms, using it daily until the irritation was gone was the best approach. After the first week, I would only use the product twice a week. I was irritation-free for several years after until about a month ago. I was going through some hella stress during a move. I couldn’t find my shampoo, so I picked up a 2% coal tar generic to use. Progressively, the condition began to spread and worsen on my scalp and ears, and the itching was INSANE. I used temporary anti-itching topicals, and continued using the 2% coal tar generic shampoo, but nothing had improved. I decided that, despite the price (Amazon is offering TARSUM at $20; the generic shampoo is only $7), I needed to buy the TARSUM. It was just delivered, and I have SATURATED my scalp and ears with it. I’ll leave it on while I work out, and then shampoo. Already, though, I can feel the itching starting to subside. I will use it daily until all of the irritation is gone, and then use it twice a week, like before. It’s now become clear that TARSUM is the ONLY product that will work for me. 0.05% or 2% isn’t going to cut it. I need the 10% coal tar plus the other ingredients contained in TARSUM that other therapeutic shampoos don’t offer. Plus, TARSUM is only shampoo that allows you to treat BEFORE you shampoo. The cheaper alternatives don’t allow for that. Using the $7 alternative the way I would TARSUM just isn’t effective in the way TARSUM is. If anyone reading this is like me, and the suffering is making you want to rip your scalp off, try TARSUM — you’ve got nothing to lose except everything about this condition that is driving you mad. UPDATE: I have just washed the TARSUM out of my hair, shampooed and conditioned, and then styled, and already I’m feeling so much better. After at least 4 more days of treatment, I should have the problem back under control. I will never use anything else but TARSUM. I just hope they never stop making it! Thank God for TARSUM.

This helps but I still have to use my prescription shampoo.

This stuff stinks but man does it work great. I’ll put up with the smell for a few minutes to finally stop the scalp itching.

It's very expensive for it's size i also have to pay for postage it coming from a non eu country but it does work with my psoriasis in hair. Unfortunately it does not work on my psoriasis elsewhere buy to be fair nothing does Well I ordered another bottle so I'd say I'm happy
