Analog Alarm Clock

Been using the clock for a few months now, and have needed to change the battery once. It's pretty phenomenal for the price, and I haven't had any issues as of yet. My favorite thing about it is the size. It makes a pretty intimidating amount of noise despite how small it is, and retains its chonkiness (in a good way). There was a little bit of a learning curve with using the dials on the back in the dark, as I often have to adjust the alarm in the dark, and try to do so without turning the lights on and waking my partner who's a light sleeper, dissimilarly to myself. The face light isn't the most effective thing about it's design, since it's not very powerful and it's angle doesn't really illuminate the entire clock face, however with a little bit of practice and intuition it gets the job done and the controls became pretty second nature after about two weeks.

My teenager can and will sleep through anything, especially when he doesn’t want to get up for school. This alarm is LOUD AF!!!! I hear it down the hall and it wakes me up too! My son has had ever alarm clock except the one that shakes the bed and I didn’t want to pay for all that but it was next on my list if this didn’t work out but thankfully it did! There are a few things I don’t like that I wish they would fix. It’s not the easiest to figure out how to program and when you do, it goes off am and pm… example… I set it for 6am… it also goes off at 6pm and scares the bejesus out of me while I’m cooking dinner. There is no way to set it for just am. It’s also not very easy to see where to set it but ya figure it out after a few tries. Also.. this is the second one I’ve had to buy (which I gladly did as it wakes the kid). My son lets this thing scream it’s head off for a while before he actually rises but that is to be expected by any alarm with him. Unfortunately, it has fallen on the floor a bunch of times due to this. It is a strong clock, but it even says on the little paper it comes with that it may break if you drop it a lot. So make sure that it is on a solid surface across the room from your teenager so they have to get up to shut it off and it doesn’t fall on the floor. This clock is old school… it shakes a lot because it is a little hammer that bangs the metal bells at the top so it will move, you must secure it if put something in front of it so it doesn’t fall on the floor. Other than that, hands down, great purchase and the price is excellent!

I have very little hearing so setting an alarm to get up for an appointment doesn't work most of the time. I have surgery in a couple weeks and I have to be at the hospital by 7:00 so I needed something to definitely wake me up. This is going to do it that's for sure! It will probably wake up my neighbors too. Lol

This works too well as an alarm. I bought this cause it looks cute and I thought it would be nice to have an old style alarm clock. My bedroom is right next to my sisters. The first time I used this it woke ever single person up. They were not happy with me. I personally shot up out of bed like a 2000s movie because I was scared half to death. I now only use it if I have something that I absolutely cannot miss. If I have a plane or a very important appointment in the morning I use this as an alarm clock. It is a nice clock, but a terrifying alarm clock.

Worst quality.. already raised issue and Amazon not taking action.. totally disappointed about this product,
