Elmer's 900803 Foam Board, White Surface with White Core, 30 x40, 10 Boards/Carton

This 10-pack of 30x40 foam boards is quite a bargain. I purchased them for the quick framing and display of larger photographs. The large, rugged cardboard package arrived in fine shape, with extra cardboard protection at each of the 4 corners (the shipping carton is a great for storage). All boards arrived in pristine condition and totally flat.The front and rear surfaces of the boards are satin-finished plasticized paper over a white 3/16" foam core. The boards cut easily with super clean edges using a larger X-Acto knife with a new #2 blade... or a #23 scalpel (preferred). With a bit of skill and patience, cutting a 30-degree or 45-degree beveled edge is easy.I use Scotch Photo Mounting Spray on the back surface of the photos to attach them to the foam board (photo can be carefully removed if lightly sprayed). Leaving a white border of foam board around the photo creates a very professional and cost-effective "framed" display. I couldn't be more pleased with these foam boards and what they add to the presentation of my photographic art. Highly recommended.

This is perfect for my project. I'm actually using water color paint on this and it's working well so far. I needed something large enough to handle all that needed to go into this project and was so pleased to find this. Additionally, it has the sturdiness to stand alone which is a real benefit. As some other reviewers pointed out, there can be corner damage. There was a tiny bit of corner damage on one corner only which was not enough to be of any concern. With packages being tossed around, it would be hard to have no damage at all. This is a really helpful product for many types of projects.

Buying this cut the cost-per-board in half compared to trundling down to the local office supply store.And what I'm not using stores right in the shipping box it came in.Elmer's is also great-quality foam board. One piece is pretty strong, but in my case I glued two together (by simply pouring on some Elmer's of course), let it dry, then cut the board to my dimensions -- which were large because the project was for a vintage poster.After that, I took the two layers of glued, cut foam board, set the poster into position, and then shrink-wrapped the whole thing -- TWICE. So that's two layers of shrink wrap pulling very tightly in all directions. The double foam board is holding up like a rock: no bowing or bending. The poster looks absolutely great mounted on the wall just like that, with no frame necessary.

First off, this is just standard white poster board. Nothing special. It's exactly as advertised.My experience is more about the seller and how they dealt with an issue. First time I ordered this, the package came damaged - looked like an impact during shipping. They wanted to take the product back before they would refund me. I was thinking this would take a while, but ontrac showed up to pickup the package the next business day (no cost to me) and they had my refund within a week.I ordered it again and the package came very fast this time with no damage.Overall positive experience.

One of my favorite uses for foam core board is to make selfie-frames for our downtown events.

the corner dent on the packaging was not a good sign. upon opening, all 10 boards inside also have dents in the same corner. up to 3-4 inches in size of unusable corner area. for me they are still useable as I just need to avoid using/showing the dented area for my purposes but beware
