Why does it say quartz in the title and automatic in the description? That's wrong, confusing, and misleading

Can this Watch withstand everyday use?

Does it have a sweeping second hand?

No. It indexes at 1 Hz. One movement tick per second. It is a reliable Japanese quartz movement. An automatic will index at 4 or 8 Hz. You can't see the start and stop of 8Hz, and this appears to "sweep."

Can the metal band be replaced with an 18mm nato strap? or is the band width a different size?

Yes you can replace with a NATO band. Don't listen to the other answer. This watch looks good either with the bracelet or with a NATO band. I have the automatic version of this watch (8926OB) and I currently have it on a "Bond" Nato Strap.
