Potassium Salt Treatment
Best coral dip I’ve ever used. Minimal coral irritation, treats flatworms, unwanted hitchhikers and bacterial infection like brown jelly as claimed by manufacturer.Great for treating newly purchased corals, very effective with torches, zoanthids, SPS.Never treat when inverts, fishes and snails are present. Use separately with a separate container then rinse coral prior to introduction.

Great item
I was skeptical about this removing pests and alge, but it did just that. I tested on a few frag plugs I got in with alge on them. Critters fell of and the amge was gone in less than a week.

Seems to work, but is can be more harsh than advertised
Read the entire review - this stuff works, but you have to be carefulI would recommend using this at half strength and only dipping for about 45 seconds. Using this at half strength for their recommended 5 minutes resulted in a pretty major stress response in some montipora digitata I tried it with. It was ONLY dipped in this and I lost about half of the polyps to bailout. It was able to remove what I assume was green hair algae after that dip that hasn't come back after. The instructions recommend putting corals directly from the dip into the tank....definitely rinse anyways. Dropping the frag directly in the tank caused most of my other SPS to retract and took a few days to come back out. Could be coral warfare, but it may have been the dip....I don't see a reason not to dip, so yup...I'll be rinsing again anyways.I've since used it on other corals, also at half strength, and they are still going and didn't have the adverse reaction like the montipora digitata had. This is the last dip I do in a series of four dips (CoralRx, Flatworm Exit, Iodine, and last this) and the other corals I've dipped have faired well. As it is the last in my series of dips, I don't tend to see anything nasty coming out of corals like I do in early stages as most of it should be gone. I did find a couple vermetid snails that made it past the dip, but I don't really expect them to be taken out by anything so meh.At least for the 15 or so frags that have gone through this including other monti's, zoanthids, smooth skin acros, leptos, and candy canes, I've had decent results with a short dip followed by a rinse in clean saltwater. The dip comes as a dry salt that gets mixed with tank water. I would recommend getting a magnetic stirrer if you plan on using this often as even the relatively small amount takes a good five minutes or so to dissolve. As this stuff is so expensive, I would also recommend doing your dips in half quart or smaller water volumes to stretch it out. At "8 caps per gallon" dosage listed on the bottle, that is 1 cap per half quart (or 1/2 cap if you decide to go half).A quick disclaimer - with this being a relatively new product at the time of this review, I chose to use half strength to be "safe". It could very well be that this stuff doesn't work unless it's at the recommended concentration, so ignore the instructions at your own risk. As more folks use this and more guidance and anecdotes find their way online, I may up the dose later. The next time I get a pest or algae explosion, I'll run a couple frags through just this to see what comes out and update my review if I can remember.
