Aden Coat

I absolutely love this jacket! The breathable, waterproof fabric is soft to the touch and not crinkly, crackly. Workmanship is very nice. The cut is flattering and not too boxy. It is soft enough and pretty enough to wear as an all weather jacket and does not look like a typical rain jacket...nothing rubbery or plastic. Because comments with height and weight are much more helpful when I'm looking at reviews I'll share that I am 5'4", 135 pounds. I usually wear a medium top, but sometimes large depending on the cut, size 6 pants. It took a bit to figure out, first ordering in both medium and large to see what fit best, because of comments saying it runs a bit small for USA sizing, and though the medium was wearable it felt a bit snug across the shoulders and bust. I like my outer layer to be looser so I kept the large and it fits perfectly with some room for layering. The length is great for my height, longer than a regular jacket, more like a parka length or fingertip length. I could not be happier. I can't speak to the functionality yet since I have not worn it, or tried it out in the rain, but will update this post when I do.

This jacket functioned well as a windproof, waterproof shell over 3 layers during recent winter trip to Scotland. Admittedly, it didn't have to face any wild rainstorm or blizzard. I am 5'8", medium weight, ordered a Large. It is slimline, flattering, perfect body & arm length & armhole width. You could fit a chunky sweater under this. The material is lightweight, supple, matte & non-noisy. The hood & collar area fit perfectly. Hood rolls under well but does not look too 'bumpy' worn unrolled beneath long hair. Was looking for a 3 in1, but didn't want to pay the price so did it myself, wearing Uniqlo ultra light down underneath. This is my 2nd Helly Hansen via Amazon, needed smaller size this year as lost weight. Now am seeing more people wearing Helly Hansen - price point? fashionable again?

This jacket delivers exactly what it said it would. I got a small even though I have pretty wide shoulders for a woman, and I can still comfortably wear long sleeve shirt and a fleece jacket underneath this coat. Plus, it looks super stylish because it's not too fitted or too loose. The length hits right at my mid-thigh, so it looks cute with high knee rain boots. I received compliments the first day that I wore it. Also, the fabric feels like cotton/poly but it is so much more. If you want a raincoat that does not feel or smell like those plastic coats, then this is the one. It feels like a high-quality coat but keeps you dry and warm from the wind and rain.

Excellent water resistance. I have tried several top name-brand raincoats, that were not waterproof and, in fact, more like wearing a wind breaker in a downpour. The quality on this jacket is top notch. A quiet, soft material that has kept me dry working outside through strong storms on a family farm. Don't hesitate to buy.

I finally was able to buy a Helly Hansen waterproof raincoat because the price was unbelievable - $90 , a real buy! Even better than when I've looked at sales in their store in Newport, RI. This coat is gorgeous. The fabric is soft and smooth and the sleeve length is perfect for my 5'3" frame. Right now I weigh 158, so went with the XL as recommended. It fits in a nicely tailored way and has plenty of room for a puffer vest underneath - I made sure to try it on w one of my vests. Plenty of room in the armpits with and without the extra layer. On me, the length comes to just above my knees - and I'm very happy that it does. The chest pocket on the inner left is great for the phone. The zipper is the high quality you would expect from HH and the snaps seem sturdy and secure. The hood is attached and rolls in under the collar ( but there is no snap or velcro to keep it closed, my only minus). The collar has a soft lining against the skin. The overall weight seems perfect for Spring, Fall and even summer ( if not too hot out). I'm looking forward to wearing this coat and not worrying about getting wet. It would have been perfect for my recent trip to Santa Fe,NM where we had rain, hale, snow and wind for several days. I haven't tried rolling it up to see how packable it is for traveling, but that's not crucial. If you've been after snagging a HH raincoat, grab this!

I love this coat! The quality is very nice. Color is exactly what I wanted. I think it will be easy to pack. HOWEVER. It runs small. After reading the comments I bought 2 sizes above my normal size so I can wear a sweater or down jacket under it. It fit, but was really tight in the hips and shoulder. I wouldn't have been able to layer. So I returned that one and went up another size! It's PERFECT! So all told I went up 3 sizes! I'll just cut the size tag out so no one knows! 🤭🤭

I bought this as a replacement for an older version of this same jacket. Unfortunately, the fabric and the tailoring has drastically changed for the worse. It looks & feels cheaply-made .. surprisingly, because Helly-Hansen has garnered its reputation for quality outerwear over many years. 1) The newer fabric is now a thin, windbreaker fabric with a plastic-y/squeaky sound with every movement-- like old-fashioned snow pants that squeaked when walking. 2) The tailoring is skimpy & unnecessarily tight in the hips. I'm a slender 5'5/127 lbs. framed woman-- this newer size Medium barely zips up; the older version in size Small was tailored in such a way that the fabric draped along the shape of the body, rather than clinging to it. I'm returning this low-quality jacket

I love this coat! I can comfortably wear a lightweight sweater under it. I'm 5'4" 110lbs. I ordered the small.

Arrived quickly and the coat itself is of a high quality. Is a little on the small side, so if unsure size up. Very flattering style and I can't wait to test it in the rain.

Der Helly Hansen Aden lange Regenmantel für Damen ist bei mir genau das Richtige für nasses Wetter. Er hält zuverlässig dicht, auch bei längerem Regen, und der Schnitt ist schön alltagstauglich, nicht zu sportlich, aber trotzdem funktional. Durch die Länge bleibt auch mehr von der Kleidung trocken, was ich super finde. Der Mantel trägt sich angenehm, wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet und lässt sich gut über einen Pulli ziehen. Die Kapuze sitzt ordentlich und schützt das Gesicht gut vor Wind und Regen. Insgesamt ein sehr guter Regenmantel, den ich klar weiterempfehlen kann.

Bardzo ładna kurtka nieocieplana. Ja noszę rozmiar 46 i kurtka jest w sam raz. Dla mnie w tej chwili, ciut za droga, poczekam może trafię ją w większej promocji.

Taille très bien, super qualité tient chaud et protège bien de la grosse pluie. Bel article.
