Dr. Scholl's Moleskin Padding Roll, 1 Roll, Thin, Flexible Cushioning & Pain Relief, Cut to Any Size, Doctor Recommended, 24 Inches x 4 5/8 Inches

I had actually never heard of moleskin, but I bought a pair of really cute shoes that hurt my feet so bad and in researching what I could do about that, I came across this product. It actually works really well. When I went on vacation, I had put a couple strips on the top of my foot and was able to leave it on there for three days even with showering and it didn’t come off. Instead of putting it on my foot each time I actually put it on my shoe and I think that works better. I hadn’t seen anyone suggesting that yet as I believe you’re supposed to put it on your skin, but I put it on the inside of my shoe and it lasts longer and keeps my feet from rubbing on them. I was going to brands because this one is quite a bit more expensive but sometimes you get what you pay for so I just went with the name brand but overall it’s been a good value for the money because you can just cut them to size and like I said, save money by putting them in your shoe instead of on your skin!

I would give this Dr. Scholl's Moleskin Padding ROLL a 10 star review if I could. To be clear, I had never heard of moleskin before a couple months ago. When I saw someone on a FB group talk about using it, I had to give it a try. My wife like full days out that require a lot of walking and standing. But I walk away - literally - from every single such day with blisters in several places on each foot. A painful experience that makes the rest of a trip, or just simply walking, very painful. So we decided to give this Dr. Scholl's Moleskin Padding ROLL a try and we are SO glad we did1 I will NEVER spend a long day out again without wearing it. It is easy to cut and figure out how much and in what shape is needed - though for this process I had my wife do it so it would work better than my trying the same. Easy on as well, it lasted a full 10+ hour day that consisted of extensive walking around a theme park, return, standing, several environments without rolling or pulling away, or dislodging from my feet. Note the side of my foot, post day out. I had on ankle high socks, so those helped to keep them clean, but I have used bandages in the same way only to have them pull off, roll off, or in some way detach. In this case, these Dr. Scholl's Moleskin Padding strips stayed firmly and comfortably in place. And underneath? My feet were flawless. Note the photo of a previous blister on my toe. Note the toe itself is a normal, natural pink - not the traditional bright red and bubble such a day out would cause. That previous blister is still in great shape as it continues to heal without any further damage or rubbing. In other words, this Dr. Scholl's Moleskin Padding ROLL worked 100% and I am sold! I will NEVER go anywhere for a longer period of time or standing WITHOUT Dr. Scholl's Moleskin Padding again!!!!!!!!!

I actually apply these to my shoes, not to my feet. They stay on very well for a long period of time and prevent chafing and blisters. I have used Dr. Scholl's moleskins for many years.

This is soft but doesn’t seem to stick the best.

This moleskin is thick and soft. The adhesive works great and the bandages stay put! I have a small blister on the back of my heel which I covered with a moleskin patch. I just completed a 6 mile moderate hike with no pain whatsoever and no movement of the bandage. I also covered my ankle bone which has a bit of abrasion from a previous hike. My hiking boot did not rub or cause any pain. The patch stayed for the whole hike, though it looks a bit loose on some edges. The adhesive is solid. It’s a great product. It allows me to continue to hike and participate in other activities with minor injuries.

Soft, nice thickness, adheres well, and easy to cut; what more could I want? This product is THE standard in moleskin, so you won't find anything better. If you're looking for something real thin, like to put around a funky toe, this is probably not what you want, but for everything else this is the cat's meow. I'm spoiled now.

I had a pair of sandals that got very slippery inside if they got wet, even with mild perspiration. Pre-formed shoe liners didn't really wo rk with the flip-flop style. So I bought this so I could cut my own form. It stuck down well (I cleaned the shoe and wiped sole with rubbing alcohol so would be extra clean for adhesion. It totally keeps my feed from slipping around the inside of the sandal. Yay! My only suggestion to mfgr would be to include a foot template to make it a bit easier to at least start off with a shoe shape.

So the product ends with "24 strips" - however, this is one big roll. The description would allude that you cut a 24" strip down into 1" pieces approximately 4 inches wide. This is essentially accurate. It's convenient to cut down to size for what you need, but since I typically cover the exact same back portion of my right heel, this convenience is lost on me. Pros: - Flexible strip length that you can custom-fit for areas of the body - Wonderful to add padding to prevent shoes from irritating skin - Relatively close to skin tone so not super obvious on a glance Cons: - Even rounding corners on cut strips, these tend to come off easily, even compared to other Dr. Scholls moleskin products. - Generally NOT fun to cut with scissors. The adhesive gets on the blade, makes it difficult to continue cutting, and requires a great level of patience to clean afterward. - Not all that sweat friendly. Overall, this product is not bad. I will use it in a pinch. However, I've found a lot more convenient remedies for the issue with my back heel, and I only now use this product when I am 100% out of them.

J'utilise ce moleskin depuis quelques années et ne le trouve plus en pharmacie dans ma région. Parfait pour "casser" une nouvelle chaussure sans ampoule ou inconfort, se coupe à la grosseur requise, colle bien à la peau sans irritation. A aussi sauvé plus d'une longue marche! Ravie d'avoir pu remettre la main sur cette merveille!

I needed this to protect the back of my feet from new shoes. This did the job perfectly.

Having had the back of my ankle flayed when walking in a new pair of shoes for a few miles I bought some of this to try and prevent a repeat when I knew I would be wearing said shoes again. Was able to walk without issues and in great comfort, despite the fact I could see the abraision on the material when I took the shoes off later at bedtime. Sticky and as its a roll can be cut to whatever size or shape you want I would imagine it would great at preventing blisters as well as my issue of protecting my still regrowing skin from any more damage.

I bought an expensive and cushy pair of floaters and they would rub against the back of my ankle and pinch. It would also create blisters. I bought this and stuck a piece of it on floater where it touched the back of my ankle. No problems now and it even absorbs some sweat, so no blister issues. Very happy. Thanks!
