Wow, I'm so glad I got this one versus the cheaper ones that are all integrated into the hand tool. It worked amazingly well. The quality seems very good.

Used it for the first time today and was really impressed with the results. The kit has a good variety of wire reinforcements and after just a couple of tests, I had it dialed in and now have two functioning trash can lids! I see it coming in very handy on a regular basis.

This hot stapler is identical to the other one with several reviews. The only difference is that this hot stapler includes 800 staples while the other one includes only 600 staples. I used this item to repair a BMW bumper cover and it worked well. The unit has adjustable temperature settings with a low profile gun to get into tight spaces. There was a good assortment of staples. The staples were slightly difficult to align in the gun because of the small holes but I will get better at this procedure over time. The staples heated very quickly when the trigger was pressed and easily sunk into the plastic. Don't forget to give each staple a twist at the end to ensure it is properly embedded. I am very satisfied with my purchase although I deduct 1-star because the manufacturer contact information is not listed in the instruction booklet for warranty or support. By the way, the instruction booklet is also identical to the one (no manufacturer contact) included with the other unit sold on Amazon that I originally purchased and returned.

So happy with this plastic welder. Have repaired car bumpers and outside plastic table top. I know it will be used much more.

nice setup, the wand is light and easy to handle and the cable is soft enough that it doesnt bulk you down when moving around. the power settings are fast when you move it from 3 to 5, within a minute or so the melter is glowing red. i repaired an old gas tank from a 2010 tiller. the tank didnt leak but i never got the rest of the machine to stay running long enough before i yeeted it. i havnt tried the staples to repair plastic yet, but im sure that will work fine just from what ive seen from the melter head. would be nice if the kit came with some differant types of plastic. i am now looking at all of the plastic i recycle just for supplies for repairs.
