PLATINUMEDGE 13 Pieces Impact Bolt & Nut Remover Set

Worked very well on a 17mm rounded off seized up brake caliper bracket mount bolt. Tapped the socket on the bolt head for full engagement and it broke loose with a breaker bar with zero slippage.

I'm surprised at how tough these extractors are! I was working on a Ford F-150 exhaust manifold that had four broken head studs. I've no idea how long ago they were broken. But they were not budging no matter what I did. These Platinumedge extractors handles nearly 350 ft. pounds of torque from my impact driver. And they show no score marks inside the extractors. I must add that I ended up having to drill the studs and retap the threads. But that was of no fault of these tools. The bolts had been baked into place for over 100,000 miles, I'm sure. So they weren't going to give up their grip no matter what. That being said, there is no doubt in my mind that this set of extractors is going to aid me in completing many other car/truck repair jobs. My son completely rounded off three lug nuts on his car in aluminum wheels. We sprayed them with PB Blaster and let them sit for an hour. They were one so tight we had to stand on a two-foot breaker bar. These had no issue and came right off. 1000% recommend this set. A side note you do have to use one that is slightly smaller then what you're trying to take and use a hammer to hammer it on really tight and this thing will grip and take anything off.

Had an issue with a completely stripped oil drain plug. Oil plug was originally a 14 mm plug but had to use a 13mm nut extractor to remover the bolt . Took a few tries but it works well.

Ah yeah, works great for rusty hardware, the other ones i had snapped, seems durable…

Got drunk, stripped drain plug on 2013 Fiesta, next day, couldn't drain 6 quarts, spent 3 hours with vise grips trying to remove bolt I stripped in a black out..got this..literally 30 seconds..bolt out, this kit is a MUST HAVE..2 day shipping, great quality. Been using vice grips and torches for years..shame on you J. Bezos not shooting me an email this was out there !

I am usually highly skeptical of tools like this bought online, but this one actually did the trick. I was at my whits end to get an oil pan plug off, and this 14mm socket got it off in one shot. I am a casual diy person with my cars, so I’m very happy to have gotten something inexpensive that worked so well.

I was trying to remove the oil sump/pan bolt for changing the oil on my engine. I tried everything and rounded the head off completely. I bought the platinumedge, used a rubber mallet to tap it on the head of the bolt. It took one tap on the wrench and it came loose on the first tap with no effort. I threw the away the bolt. I wish I took a photo to upload as proof of the rounded head. I would definitely recommend this product and it value for money compared to the rest of the stuff I was looking at and I am not a mechanic.

Had a very rounded 10MM nut. Put the socket on and it removed it with ease. Highly recommend!
