Lovely matches
I haven't gone through every single match and counted them, but under the assumption they are all there, 320 matches for $6 is a fine value as that's ~2 cents a match. There's probably other bigger value bundles available somewhere, but I found this to be fairly priced and not too much of an expenditure.I also chose this based off ratings in comparison, and that I was looking for one with a cool design. The design is great and unique. If you're striking a match to light your cigarette with this box, it will also look cool. The actual wood is decently sturdy. My first few matches only took 1-2 strikes to get it lit. Generally it takes less than 10 tries, but I was probably messing up half the time.Once I finish the ones I got right now, I'll likely get these again.

Top quality
I've been using Diamond matches for decades, but recently they are skimping on the match head and strike surface so that repeated strikes still do not light the match. In desperation, I went online to try to find a replacement that works. These are a gem. They light on the first strike and do not burn down too fast.when i run out, I will be reordering. Well worth the added expense!

Heads Could be a Bit Bigger, but they are Nice Matches, and the Strikers are Great
These safety matches are a great option for reliable matches with a unique look. The matchheads have a distinct appearance compared to standard bright red ones, and the striking strips work consistently and last through the entire box, unlike some other brands. The smaller matchheads burn quickly, so they light fast but might not be ideal in windy conditions. All in all though, they are functional, effective, and come in a convenient and long lasting 10-pack. A solid choice for everyday use or to have some on-hand that doesn't take up a lot of space. Still highly recommended!

Hooray! They Work!
No rocket science or special technique required here: I just strike the match and voila, a flame appears. One might think this is no special thing, but my mother bought some penny matches with the brand name Cavalier from a discount store called Jack's, and I HATED those things with a passion. About half of the matches in any box were too skinny and snapped; the others wouldn't light without several tries and most of the match head wearing off. I started holding two of them together at a time just to get a flame going, and even that didn't work sometimes. My mother said she had no problem with the matches and actually demonstrated for me HOW she held the matches and struck them to get them to light. Note to all the manufacturers of penny matches out there: striking a match should be an effortless action that requires no conscious thought and no demonstrations of “match-striking technique”. It should NOT be rocket science! As to whether these Swedish matches burn out quickly: yes, they do—IF I hold them horizontally, that is straight across. If, however, I light the match and then point the lit end downward, as if I’m going to light a lamp or candle, I have found that it burns nicely.I thought the Cavalier matches my mother had bought were Diamond brand, and so vowed to buy them never again. Since they’re not Diamond matches after all, I might try Diamond on my next go round. Overall, though, I am really happy with these Swedish matches. They work! If Diamond disappoints, I’ll be back!

Best matches
In terms of ease to strike and dependability, these are the best matches I have used. Only on the first box, but they fire up every time with one short strike and stay lit.

Very short light-time. Qunatity over quality.
The matches are not particularly easy to light and once they are lit they burn out very quickly, making it rather difficult to light a cigarette for example unless your coordination is on-point. Lighting a candle can be a challenge as the wick takes longer to ignite then the match needs to burn up halfway. Overall I would say they are not very convenient to use and the little strip on the box does not to an exceptional job at lighting them. The upsides are that you get a lot of them (almost too many) and that their size (as much as it makes them burn out quickly) makes them easy to carry. Not a waste of money per say, but I wouldn't buy it again.
