I bought this one to replace the same item from a different seller, The previous one I purchased would not work with my blue yeti usb microphone to allow me to record audio through my Iphone 13 pro max. I read reviews of this one and seen others had luck, getting usb microphones connected and working using this adapter. I am happy to say it actually works when i record video and audio with this adapter, there was no breaking up of the audio, the sound quality using this adapter was perfect. The great thing is that you can also connect your lightning phone charger and keep your phone charged while you are recording, allowing for longer recording time. With it being a small adapter you can pop it in your pocket and take it with you anywhere and connect any USB-A compatible device, Great quality cable.

This looks like it could be an Apple accessory. Same quality, decent cable, and it worked well the first few times I used it. The cable "could be" a bit longer but that might make it more trouble than it is already I need to figure out how to strap it down so it's not always getting in the way. Power delivery seems fine, the phone charges if I connect it to power, and my external Mic worked flawlessly. Very pleased.

I've purchased a similar item in the past which after an iPad update wouldn't work anymore. This device is simpler to use and doesn't require additional software which is nice so I'm hoping updates won't be a problem. I took it out of the box and within minutes was using it with no issues. The instructions were clear and I've been able to transfer both ways photos, music and various documents without frustration. I'm quite pleased with it. One minor consideration is if you are using the iPad as a hot spot via USB even though you can plug the power cord into it to keep it charged it won't keep the hotspot connection. I don't find that a problem as I just transfer whatever I need to transfer and disconnect the device and renew the hotspot (this is mute if the hot spot is via wifi). But I suppose there may be someone for whom that could be an issue. I don't see that as something that would take away from its rating. I found the cost to be quite reasonable for what it provides and I would easily recommend it.

It works but you have to keep resetting your phone after ever use

recently I have discovered the world of Apple lossless music with an external DAC/AMP fiio BTR5 and Fiio KA3 depending on my moods. The BTR5 can connect through AAC Bluetooth but the quality of music is not as high quality as wired through the USB camera port. Of course while using the USB camera port I needed to charge my phone simultaneously as I listen to music, thus this USB camera adapter with charging port. Just perfect for my use.

Wanted something like this to move files out of my wife's iPhone when we are out and about. Worked as advertised with no issues. I was able to copy files to a 256 GB flash drive and charge the device at the same time on an IPhone 10 and 13. One thing to keep in mind with USB Flash drives and MicroSD cards; they need to be formatted in FAT32. They commonly come as NTFS and they wont work with the iPhone like this. At least not at the time of this review. I don't know for MAC but windows users can use a free program called "Guiformat" to perform this task. this limitation has nothing to do with the adapter but with the iPhone itself not supporting that format.

What's not to like? It works as advertised, and it's made well. Connect a camera, MIDI instrument (GarageBand, etc) or other USB device to your iPhone.
