I purchased the APPS2Car Universal Car Cup Phone Holder for my vehicle, and it has been very useful for daily driving. The cup holder base fits securely into my car’s cup slot and feels very stable, even on bumpy roads. Tried diff types and kinds for a Mini Clubman, this works the best due to the size and design of a Mini. Easy installation, put in cub holder, the benefit is in the periscope extension feature. When low position the stick shift hits and and have to look down when using guidance. The extension rod cures all that while making it portable when not using. Adaptable base to fix all Cupholder car designs. Material and durability are solid. Phone holder is really adjustable and easily hold a Android Fold. There is a nice slot on bottom that perfectly allows to charge the phone while driving

I installed this in my 2023 Corvette. I have a few cars and have been using the magnetic holders that clip in to the cars ac/heating vents. Though not perfect they work pretty well and I use them in all my cars. The vents in this car are not compatible with the magnetic holder. I gave this cup holder thing a try. I don't like giving up a cup holder spot in this car but it's the only real alternative I had. This holder fits well and is sturdy. My iPhone 6S (yes I know it's old but I don't beleive in updating things for the sake of updating with no improvement for my purposes) in it's case fits well. The holders phone release works well. The space for the charging cord is positioned well. The downside. The grip on the phone could be better. If the holder is not angled back to an almost flat position the phone tends to slip out of the holder. The case is not bulky at all and is very slim. Maybe a bulkier case would hold better. I solved this by wrapping a rubber band around each of the gripping sides and it works to keep the phone in place. Should you have to do this to an item you bought for this simple function-NO. This should have been taken into account in the design process. Not a difficult fix. I gave it 4 stars because overall the product is good. And I was able to solve this issue at no cost as I have no shortage of rubber bands lying around. Maybe I should have rated it a 1 or a 2 because it does not do well the 1 thing it's designed to do. But, the issue was easily fixable. That's my 2 cents worth.

if you need a car cup phone holder, this is a great one! It’s exactly as described. it is a universal fit and tightens very nicely to the cup holder and can be tightened securely and does not move at all. You can also adjust the angle for your possibly glancing down at the phone if need be and secure that angle quite well. If you security phone holder as described. I tried another type first that used suction and it didn’t work at all, And I had to send it back. I noticed some of the others could only be placed on a horizontally flat surface, but not all cars accommodate that very well. But this cup holder design is just right! I’ve been using it for about a month or so and I highly recommend it – it’s also very reasonably priced.

This is perfect for my car because the suction cup phone holders that go on your window don’t work for me and neither do the ones that go on the air vent. I have two small round cup holders and this is literally perfect! Holds my phone, doesn’t move around or fall, and is super durable. I love this for my car especially because it’s so hard to find a one size fits all phone holder for my cup holders. I got my mom one too and she has square cup holders in her car, she loves it too.

So far, so good! My reason for buying a phone holder is a little goofy. My phone fits into a little niche in my car, and I'm always forgetting it and leaving it there. I do this a lot when I get home and have groceries to take in. I can go hours before I realize that I don't have my phone, missing calls and texts. My hope is that this phone holder will put my phone out where I'll see it. Beyond that, it does hold the phone securely. You adjust the bottom piece to fit tightly in your cupholder, and you can tighten the ball-and-socket that holds your phone to your preferred tightness after adjusting it to an angle you like. I had a phone holder that stuck onto the windshield but it was very bouncy--didn't like it. This one is rock solid. I'm sad to lose a cupholder but I'm hoping that the tradeoff will be worth it.

Only fits in certain cup holders not all of them. It's bulky but it serves it's purpose. Wouldn't order it again.

Leaves all competitors outside the vehicles looking in. Don’t waste time or money, this one is real deal. Wasted a lot of $$$$ on WEATHER TECH and this one is not only big price difference but superbly designed. This years version tweaked and better. Fits any cup holder, easy to adjust to phone and get correct angle for viewing . It is sturdy with excellent build quality and easy to adjust and stow away. Mine was actually stolen out of my car. So got another asap and noticed the subtle improvement. Made a good product even better. Most companies do the reverse . Recommend for all your cars, trucks, etc. VERY COST EFFECTIVE!!!! No brainer to use or assemble. You won’t be disappointed!!!

It's slightly more expensive than the cheaper options available, but believe me it's worth every penny. Minimal moving parts makes this the best option for a car cup mobile phone holder. I had bought 3 different cheap brands and returned them all, until I found this. Never-mind those negative reviews, just go for it!
