Pleasing dimmable LED BR30 bulb at an attractive price point
Philips LED BR30 Warm Glow Dimmable 650-Lumen, 2700-2200 Kelvin, 9-Watt (65-Watt Equivalent) Flood Light Bulb, E26 Medium Base, Soft White, 6-Pack -- Excellent bulbs and the closest to an incandescent-look I have been able to find. Bulbs have a nice color when full-on and gradually warm as they dim, just as an incandescent does. I've been slowly replacing all the can light bulbs in the house (and even the standard bulbs) with these as they run much cooler than the old CFLs / incandescents, have superb dimming capabilities, pleasing color temperature, lower power consumption and of course last much longer.I have tried other LEDs such as Feit (not so great), Cree (kinda pricey) and GE (pricey and give off a bit of heat) and have found these are the best bang for the buck especially with the "Warm Glow" color temperature-changing feature.I have mine on z-wave in -wall dimmers for automation and have experienced no flicker issues though, flickering is typically due to the "trim" on the dimmer and not caused by the bulb (except for super cheap bulbs). On circuits controlling up to 7 bulbs at one time these will kick on at about 5% but will dim down to roughly 2%. With a higher load (an incandescent popped into one of the sockets) they will come on at and dim down to ~2%. Keep in mind many dimmer switches to require a certain load value in order to dim completely and if there is flickering check the "trim" function of the dimmer, although not all are adjustable. I've only had to adjust trim on one dimmer but I think that is due to having only one bulb on the circuit (low load value) so, that particular bulb kicks on at ~10% but will dim down to ~5% before shutting off.I have several installed in the outside soffits and are set to come on (z-wave switch) dimmed at 15% at sundown and turn off at sunrise (they go to quickly fade up to full power when one of the exterior motion sensors is activated) which provides for safety and attractive curb appeal. These have been running outside for about a year in the Pacific Northwest (cloudy, rainy, salt water, "temperate marine" zone, occasionally down to freezing in Winter and up to the mid-80's F / low 90's F in Summer) with no degradation or issues but of course, they are in the soffits which provide protection.Using an wall-plug z-wave dimmer I've found they dim down to roughly 1% and pop on at around 3%-4% so it definitely depends on the type/model/brand of dimmer switch.Overall, these are the best dimmable LEDs I have been able to find. Highly recommended.

The Cree was nice but somewhat expensive
Replaced a mix of CFL Dimming and 1 Cree LED Dimming as I couldn't decide if I wanted CFL or LED in the cans. The Cree was nice but somewhat expensive, and didn't dim enough at he bottom of the Lutron dimmer switch. CFL runs hot and they burn out way too quick. My living room has 6 cans, and these LED lights look good in the ceiling. The CREE has the nice rubberized coating, Phillips are smooth to the touch. No markings on the Phillips which is nice as the old CFL bulbs had their stats on the lens of the bulb. The Phillips give off a more yellowish light which is what I was looking for. The dimming goes low enough to almost match the CFL at their dimmest. These sit in the cans at just the right amount. Not too far up, and not too low.I wish I got these instead for my kitchen, except I think these are relatively new. I do not hear any noise coming off the lights. Also these turn on at nearly the same speed as the CFL's did. No delay on a Lutron dimming switch. From my understanding these bulbs have something built in to give extra dimming at the low end.I still haven't seen any LED bulb go out on me over the last 3 years, so no idea what the real life expectancy is and if it really matters what brand I pick up.

100s of LED bulbs later, the philips warm glow bulbs are my favorites!
Lots of good reviews, I'll just add some info...1) These Philips Warm Glow are by far the best bulbs I've encountered in upgrading over 100 bulbs in my house of a huge variety of sizes and bases.2) Despite dimming "pretty well" to 20 or 30% max with my mechanical dimmers from 2007 or so, LED dimmers can get them lower3) They dim down to a lower light level than they will turn on at (seems like this applies to every single LED I've purchased)4) The Lutron LED skylark and diva dimmers are fine, but if you want a reliable "on" you will not get to take advantage of the lowest dimming as you must trim these switches as you mount them5) Lutron Maestro (newest model with #153 in the branding) is fantastic for these, will dim them to essentially nothing but Christmas tree light levels, though will still need a higher setting to turn on, so I've trimmed that dimmer to very low at the lowest and had the switch always turn on at max level to avoid a turn on at prior setting (i.e. even this switch won't start the bulbs at the super low, see #3 comment)6) The older version of Lutron Maestro apparently had more current flowing through it when off, as the older Maestro (can tell as it didn't have the "advanced programming mode with 7 options) would constantly keep at least one bulb lit in a small amount even when the switch was actually set to off7) Hard to explain how nice the dimming to 2200k is--other bulbs at 2700k that stay there on dimming seem fake and ugly by comparison. A couple other vendors make this feature (cree candlelight or something, for example) but very few options. Buy every bulb as a philips warm glow if you can!8) Instant on9) easily brighter, in a good way, compared to every other halogen in my home10) I've installed dozens of philips warm glow bulbs and no duds(this was also tested against newest cree BR30 bulbs and traditional philips BR30 LED bulbs not warm glow, and about 15 other bulbs of non BR 30 variety)

Nice light but one faulty bulb in the set.
The light is pleasing and works well with my smart home dimmer. They turn on quickly and together though it seems as if the ramp up isn't smooth though I have not yet determined if is an issue with my older smart dimmer or if I need to make adjustments to the just installed new Home Assistant Yellow controller. I have not knocked off a star because of that but because one of the bulbs came in faulty. It flickered when installed and when I removed it I discovered that the internal power supply was moving about and it has since completely broken loose inside there and rattles around. 4 of the 6 bulbs need to be in service now so it is not practical to return the set.
