⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Clean Protein with Great Taste and No Bloat I’ve tried a lot of different protein powders over the years, and this one has really impressed me. The beef protein isolate gives you a solid 24g of protein per serving, and I appreciate that it’s BST-free with added BCAAs. It mixes easily with water or almond milk, and unlike many whey-based powders, I don’t experience any bloating or stomach discomfort afterward. The chocolate flavor is rich and natural — not overly sweet or artificial-tasting. I’ve found it works great on its own as a shake, but it’s also good blended into smoothies or even mixed into oatmeal for a protein boost. The fact that it uses real chocolate is a nice touch, and it doesn’t have the chalky aftertaste that some protein powders do. If there’s one small downside, it’s that the texture can be slightly thinner than whey protein when mixed with just water. Also, the price point is a little higher than average, but I think it’s worth it for the quality and digestibility. The only reason I'm docking it 1 star is because Amazon crammed it in a box with a bunch of other stuff, and caused the seal to break, leaving a mess in the box. However, I don't have a long term review, cause I just got it, but I actually loved the flavor! The texture was a bit thin when mixed with water, but I actually liked that about it. The chocolate flavor did have a little bitter bite to it, but again, something I really liked about it. Cause, it almost tastes more like dark chocolate, which is my favorite kind. So far, no bloating, feels great! I thought the price was very fair. I will more than likely buy it again. It may even become my regular! Had no issues mixing it in a blender bottle. Mixed up great. No clumps, and was smooth! Great product so far!

Seeing the 4 stars avg bothers me. This deserves 5. Here’s my review: First impressions: First of all, I was legit straight up afraid to drink this due to other reviews bombing it saying its like beef gravy and aweful. That’s just wrong and scaring others away from what I’ve discovered to be a great product. Review below Mixability or solubility: You’ll want a full size blender bottle to mix one scoop. It foams up, however, foaming can indicate a higher protein content and purity in the powder. It is still very drinkable, its just half foam. Again, this indicates quality amino acids. Taste: Bitter, yet also more rich, creamy and chocolaty than leading brands such as ON Optimim Nutrition Whey protein Isolate, double chocolate. The taste is less sweet due to lack of artificial sweeteners (this is good) yet it’s more rich and satisfying due to more cacao added, which is healthy. After using Olympian Labs beef protein and then switching back to my OPTIMUM NUTRITION Gold Standard® 100% Isolate, i find myself a little grossed out by how sweet the gold standard one is. (Gold tastes great, just sweet) Fyi, I’m still using both at the moment, as I have a use for each and consume the gold one at night. Performance: Well I’m not on creatine, and beef protein has naturally occurring creatine so that alone increases this proteins immediate effectiveness in the gym over Whey. Lets just say my pullups went from 8-10 (my norm) quickly (in three weeks) up to 15 in one set. Using about 1 scoop a day. I was blown away, and I doubt it was just the creatine. Made me feel young again, and was sad when my container ran out. Overall review: I found this product on my own and bought it because it was the cheapest beef protein on amazon, and I’m lactose intolerant. I haven’t had this much energy in the gym for years. It works for me, since again I’m lactose intolerant so maybe I get more out of this, and I don’t eat much food (I have a small stomach?). Olympian Labs you have a great product, please dont raise prices (or not much), as I’m now a x2 monthly subscriber. Thanks so much!

I have drank countless different types of proteins powders over the years. This is the worst. Photos are after 10-15 minutes of vigorous shaking, and over 20 minutes of sitting. The third pic is after sitting for several hours. The foam doesn't break down. From 8 oz of liquid and one scoop of protein, you get 24 oz of foamy, chunky, nastiness. The "chocolate" flavor is really weak, in just 8 oz of liquid! It does not mix well. It's extremely foamy and chunky. So, it's sort of like drinking a cold cappuccino, with a weak dose of nesquick that didn't get mixed well and is still chunky. Add in a strange, unfamiliar flavor which I'm sure is the protein isolate, and finish it off with a lingering flavor of artificial sweetener that's difficult to get rid of. I would be far less disappointed if they stood behind their product and offered a refund based on satisfaction. Don't waste your money!

Does not mix well with cold water… VERY frothy and produces slimy, gelatinous balls, which apparently is characteristic of beef protein isolate powders. It mixes slightly better with room temperature water, or if you let it sit for an hour before drinking it. If you can get past the slimy balls in your mouth, the chocolate taste is actually pretty good- not too sweet, not too bitter. I managed to make it through all 60 servings, but probably won’t purchase again…

This is the best quality protein only product I have found online! Just protein. No sugar, no other sweeteners! None of the usual unnecessary ingredients found in other protein products! A slight taste of beef is there, but I made it completely disappear by adding one tablespoon of pure organic cocoa powder, a tablespoon of organic coffee, or a full teaspoon of each. Preparation: I just place 1 cup of very cold water, a half cup of nonfat organic milk, a heaping scoop of this protein, and a tablespoon of either organic coffee, or cocoa powder, or a full teaspoon of each, and 2 full cups of ice cubes. Next, push the smoothie button, and blend it for about 20 seconds. I get an entire jar of my Ninja blender of a frothy, tasty drink! I drink the entire jar at breakfast, then repeat the same at lunch, every day of the week. Later in the day, I just have a healthy protein loaded low-fat dinner. It has worked for me amazingly well! The Olympian Labs Beef Protein Isolate, 24g Protein, BST Free is a great product for those people looking to get great quality protein, without fillers, sweeteners, or any other unnecessary ingredients! I love it and will continue to purchase it! Please don't change this product in any way... and please always have it available on Amazon, at this amazing price! Great quality at a great price is a great plus!

A must for gluten and dairy free users! I have tried SO MANY protein powders and I don't tolerate plant or pea-based proteins. This is a strictly beef isolate protein, and I cannot taste anything "beefy" about it. I will say, the most recent formulas (versus from 2015, etc) are better tasting. It blends well if you: first blend your water with ice, THEN add protein. I also add PB 2 to mine for a peanut butter chocolate combo.

My nutritionist recommended this protein powder to help me reach my daily protein goal. The chocolate flavor is enjoyable when I blend it with half a banana and a little milk. However, I could not tolerate the taste when mixed only with water and without the banana. It works well for me as long as I prepare it this way.

This is a fabulous product if you’re allergic to nuts. I spent a year looking for protein powders made in a nut free facility and found only 2 after calling 50+ brands. I’ve used this in my smoothies for 3 years now and love it. The only issue I have is I need to soak my blender after as the protein powder residue it sticky. Easy enough to just soak. For anyone nut-free, this is a great product. Tasty too.

This is the worst protein I’ve ever eaten. When you shake the protein it makes dough and can’t mixed properly.

This protein powder doesn't taste bad and you get quantity and good quality for an affordable price. Other proteins I found hard on the stomach (heartburn, etc) but not from this product. It met my protein intake requirements for my personal fitness regime and I would recommend this product to other people looking for a good budget friendly protein supplement to assist them in obtaining their fitness goals. The protein for me always arrived in the mail within a few days of ordering it.

If you don't like the taste, mix it with Beet root powder. It's perfect. Great value for protein content.
