Valve Cover Gasket Set - Compatible with 4.8L 5.3L 6.0L 6.2L Chevy Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, Trailblazer, GMC Sierra, Yukon, Envoy, Cadillac Escalade - Replace 12637683 VS50504R1

I installed these valve cover gaskets on my 5.3 2007 suburban. Getting to the valve covers wasn't too hard (used You Tube). The tricky part that slowed me way down was getting the gaskets to stay in the cover as I placed them back on the engine. I found that some high temp grease or petroleum jelly applied to the underside of the gasket helped it to stick to the valve cover and not fall out during install. It's worked great with no leaks since reinstalling. The other tip I wished I knew beforehand was that these gaskets fit, but are a little tight (small). I found that taking a few seconds to stretch them out helped them to fit much easier so one end didn't pop out of the groove when pushing the opposite side in. For the second gasket, I just left it stretched over a cardboard box as I removed the valve cover and it didn't give me any trouble.

Stopped my leakes and easy to install if you a mechanically inclined. Quality products.

These are the better valve cover gaskets. One thing i noticed is the weight if the Ignition coils on the valve covers arent really ideal.

Fit on my 2012 gmc sierra. Just a little small as suspected but hard to get in place when it's upside down
