Der Kiwi Schäler ist eine interessante Alternative zu herkömmlichen Gemüseschälern. Er schneidet hübsche Muster in das Gemüse, was besonders bei Dekorationen oder besonderen Gerichten gut zur Geltung kommt. Die Anwendung ist einfach, und der Schaler liegt gut in der Hand. Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass er keine gleichmäßigen Streifen schneidet. Wenn man wirklich nach feinen, gleichmäßigen Streifen sucht, ist ein Julienschäler die bessere Wahl. Der Kiwi Schäler ist eher für dekorative Schnitte geeignet und weniger für die präzise Zubereitung von Gemüsestreifen.

I started using this product when I was living in Thailand and I just loved it. Before I left, I bought a bunch to give as gifts. Of course, my mother loved it and decided she wanted another one to use in her cafe. So I bought 3 more on Amazon. This is the best gadget for quickly prepping julienne-style carrot strips for stirfries and salads, etc... It also does an amazing job at slicing green papaya.
