The Plow® 2.0 Premium Single Blade Double-Edged Safety Face Razor for Men

Switched from Harry’s Original 5-Blade to Manscaped Plow 2.0 Single-Blade and noticed significant improvement on the very first shave. The Plow 2.0 has decent weight and is easy to use for a single blade, haven’t nicked myself yet after several shaves. It doesn’t dull and pull out of the box like the Harry’s cartridges, and the upfront cost is worth the savings after the cost of a month or two of cartridges adds up (though I found myself not changing them as frequently as I should because the cost). Overall, I’d recommend this as a good razor that cuts my thick hair.

This is the first safety razor I’ve ever used and I don’t see myself ever going back to my old shaver. I shaved my entire body and this didn’t snag once. I got the closest shave of my life and didn’t get a single cut. The weight of the handle felt perfect for giving enough pressure without me having to do anything. I was pleasantly surprised with how intuitive this switch felt and how easy loading the blade was. The cost of typical razors is insane, which was a huge reason I even tried this. I am so happy I made the switch. We had people over earlier and I couldn’t stop sharing how game changing this product is. I may not be the target audience, but I’ve already started sharing how awesome this product is with everyone I know. 100% worth it

I have more than a hundred (!) DE razors, not to mention a few straight razors and cartridge razors as well. I made the move to DE razors around 2010, with a desire to have less redness and closer shaves. So far, the “experiment” has paid off immeasurably - albeit with the realization that excellent prep (soap/face) is highly predictive of shave quality, with blade/razor choices important - but not always indicative of the outcome. With all that being said, I recognized, around 2019, that the RazoRock Lupo had become my clear favorite DE razor, allowing me the most widespread choice of blades while delivering the most comfortable (for me) shaves, every time. Well, I have to acknowledge that “The Plow” - which is ostensibly based on a Merkur or related tool - is totally knocking it out of the park for me. There is ample blade exposure here, but moreso, blade gap. It shaves well, and sharp, and totally comfortable. I’ve used Bic Astor, Feather, and Kai, as well as the blades that came with the razor (Merkur???). The heavy, thin handle - which is steady and propelling even with soap slickness - makes me feel secure with every shave. Crazily, I can’t find anything wrong with this razor and its blade combos, and I shave in cold water with amazing soaps (Nancy Boy is my favorite) and the occasional use of pre-shave formulae (Grooming Co). My beard is ROUGH and grows at multiple angles, requiring many angles…but the PLOW really does the job better than…get this…anything in my ample collection. Again, there might be other factors at play here. I am a better DE shaver than I was 3, 5, 10 years ago…and yet, I just find this razor to give me the best shave possible, with no irritation, and seriously close shaves. Will it happen for you? I don’t know, but right now, it’s the only razor in my line of usage.

So I’ve have this razor for 3 shaves and so far I’m very pleased with the Plow 2.0. It’s not too light nor too heavy, the grip is really really nice, no slipping compared to my Gillette king DE razor. So very pleased with that. Though it is a more aggressive shave I did have some minor cuts for the first shave with it, but the last two shaves I was more patient and it gets really close and a very smooth shave. It’s a good razor for the price hope it holds up with time, I wouldn’t drop this cuz I feel like it would break though just keep that in mind

Excellent product. The knurling is incredible, and the blades that come with are very high quality. I can’t believe there are companies that charge upwards of $100 for safety razors when Manscaped has clearly perfected the technology

Love this razor. Simple, good weight without being burdensome and has held up pretty well to me not exactly being gentle with it. Note: A solid handle won't matter if you don't have good blades! Good blades are worth the extra few cents per blade.

Excellent quality and very easy to clean. Coming from electric razors it took me a long time and lots of blood to learn how to use, so watch out for that. Now though I can use it perfectly safely, and it's much more effective and easier to maintain than an electric razor.
