Qnap Hard Disk Drive Tray (SP-TS-Tray-Black)

Bought a used TVS-471 that was missing the drive tray keys, and a former employee of the previous owner had used the wrong screws when replacing a drive. This tray came with the screws I needed plus has a pair of keys. Just a pair of keys alone would have cost as much as this kit did. Totally worth the money!

This tray came with extra screws, and works great. I like that it came with a key, because I lost my key and broke my tray to get it out so I could swap a bad drive. Which is why I ordered this one haha.

Take it out of the package and slide it right into the NAS. Easy, fast and efficient.

I use these to extend my TS-453A. I just swap All 4 Discs with the new ones and I have a new NAS with much more storage. Way cheaper than a whole new system. I use this NAS just for backups anyway, My drives are full and I needed more space. As It is just for backup purposes & the NAS is off most of the time anyway. If I need files from the old drives I just power it off, swap the drives and it's all good :) I didn't need the locks but its all they had.

I'm using these in a QNAP TS-563 because the factory drive trays didn't have adequate ventilation. So far these trays have reduced my disk temperatures by 8 degrees celcius and have reduced seek noise on my QNAP. These trays come with 2 keys, 2 different sets of screws and a clear plastic like coating where the drive mounts to reduced seeking noise and to shield the drives from shorting out. Overall these drive trays are very well made and I'm happy with the purchase.

Worked perfectly in the QNAP NAS that I purchased it for. All screws that are needed comes in the box.

Ordered because I had lost my key. Was a good idea to have the other parts as spare.

Exactly what I needed - particularly the keys, which were misplaced during a company move. The drive bay will replace one where the lock had to be drilled out.

Fits perfectly, does the job. It feels a bit cheaper than the original but whatever. That doesn't matter.
