I ordered 2 of these doors, the pallet was damaged by a forklift, I refused delivery and after a few days, and a few (quick/easy) phone calls with Amazon CS, the seller sent out a new set of doors. The new pallet arrived the following week, this time a sheet of plywood was attached to the top and bottom, very nice! Bottom line these doors are HEAVY and a pallet with 2 doors weighs almost 600 lbs. Cosmetic damage will occur if your not careful moving them around. The doors themselves are extremely well made, the fit and finish is also very nice, no instructions are included, however there are several very detailed installation videos from the factory on YouTube, search for Lathams Security Doorsets Ltd. Videos show the same exact doors being professionally installed, extremely helpful . They're not cheap they seem very secure.

Beautiful door very secure, but doesn’t lock! I Purchase this door for our church which backs up to alley parking. Since the install date, everyone has had trouble locking the door even our head of maintenance. The locking mechanism is clumsy and awkward. sometimes locking and sometimes not until finally it now only locks from the inside. I reached out to the supplier for help with No response. I asked for help with the locking mechanism because it comes with a very unusual key so it’s not like I can call a locksmith to come and fix it. We cannot enter through the door from the exterior, we have to walk around the building to the front door to enter the building. I would have loved to return this door, but due to it being so heavy and being installed, that is impossible. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this door!

This is a super heavy-duty door. Easy to install. You can cut the hinges off and still not get in.

I was looking for a door to my gun/safe room. The room doubles as a storm shelter. I purchased the 36” slab. The frame did not expand to the 43” as advertised. It would only adjust out to a max 42”. I made customer service aware and they were thorough and confirmed my complaint was valid. They were very apologetic and very generous. I was able to get the opening modified so the door would work. The door met all my expectations from a security and safety standpoint. It is a great alternative to the more expensive standard safe doors available. All in all I’m very pleased in my purchase. I would recommend it to anyone.

Very nice quality door. Mine delivered with no damage (plywood on both sides of heavy cardboard). The color was not what I expected. It was more of an FDE than a gray. But lighting does make a difference. Once in the darker room, it blended in OK. Not an easy install for one person. My wife had to help me get it in. There were zero instructions included. There is a one page instruction on the website, which I found after the fact. But it only references the lock install. As it turned out, that was my biggest problem. There are two cover plates included. There was no mention of the fact one of them is threaded and one is not. I didn't notice that, and spent way too long trying to thread the bolts for the lock into non-threaded holes. Once I finally noticed the difference in the two cover plates, I switched them and it was simple. Why don't they just thread both cover plates and make things simple for folks? The Latham door videos that are often referenced did help. But the doors are not exactly the same. The door is nice quality and I'm happy with the end result. Customer support (online messages and the one call I made) was excellent. I would have given it 5 stars. But missing accurate step by step instructions dropped it to 4 stars. Pay someone whose first language is English to write accurate, I'm-not-an-engineer-and-never-seen-this-door-before install instructions please. Those would have really helped. BTW, the logo on the top left says "Doors4Security".

This is a pretty solid door but it did arrive dented, surprisingly on the side most protected. MOST Important is there was no Handles or bezel included whiz was in the list of hardware included. The door brand as arrived is Doors 4 Security and I looked them up but they never return a call in 4 attempts. What good is all this if I can't open the door.

Received with a dent in door on outside. They gave me a significant discount to not return it. It functions fine. I have to add that the weather stripping is not good by any means and I ended up having to replace it because of the play in the door when latched. Otherwise this is a great deal compared to other options I was able to find.
