Yes it does. As well as coax cables.

Hi, Yes, it does test the line indicating a PASS or FAULT on the screen. If the cable fails then it will also show which pairs have failed. I have used it to install lines across floors and rooms altogether and I was very satisfied with it. However, I would suggest having a look at youtube; there are plenty of videos showing the full range of features that the tester covers. Hope this helps.
