Great bang for buck.
I have these paired to JL audio amp and media center. , with single 10โ WO JL sub, for 300 pair they sound better then the 500+ dollar JL components i replaced. Iโm a big fan of soft speakers that make clean sound without having that harsh bite. My ears canโt handle metal tweeters. These are plenty crisp and still soft on ears. I do have a loose rattle in one speaker when turned up pretty high. Itโs def not distortion, almost sounds like loose bolt inside speaker box but canโt find it. But there not broke in yet so i havenโt cranked them up to loud. I have 75wrms per speaker. For 300 bucks Iโm super impressed, i let them play for few hours at low volume let them break in some see what they sound like cranked up. Note, you absolutely need to use the butyl rubber supplied on speaker grills or if someone closes the door to hard the grill will come out.

Amazing speakers in GR86
I bought these for $280 after tax, which was about 2.5x more than my previous set of Pioneer TS-A653CH, which I bought for $110. I can confidently say these are at least 2.5x better. The tweeters are better, but the woofers are leagues better, well worth the money. The biggest difference is overall imaging, I have 2 rear coaxials used as fill and the overall better separation and clarity from these make the rears much more noticeable. I have a Puzu PZ-C7 powering the speakers, giving them 50w, and it's more than enough in my tiny car. I can't comment on mid-bass too much since I already have a subwoofer installed. Highs are not as piercing as my previous set, but can be too much for some people, so I'd recommend having the ability to EQ it down before purchasing. The tweeters were too large to fit into factory tweeter location for my 6-speaker GR86, so I have them VHB taped on the speaker grill using the provided angled tweeter mount and have them pointed towards the rear view. I have the crossover hooked up using a Metra 72-8110, and had room to fit it in a crevice in the dash. I don't have experience with any higher end car speakers, but I can at least say if you have the funds, go for the better set.

Very happy with these in my RAV4
Paired these up with an amp and the stock head unit in my RAV4. They can handle quite a bit and stay loud without ear fatigue due to excessive sibilance. Can fart out a bit on some frequencies that go through the low end of their range, but just back off the volume a bit if a certain song is doing that. Youโll like them for their more natural unhyped sound. Pair with the coax versions for the rear doors to get a fuller sound.

Marvelous in my F150!

Bright and clear highs
Friends recommended Morel and while I didn't want to splurge on their higher-end stuff, their affordable Maximo Ultra series was indeed pretty good. Sound was a tad brighter than I am used to (and I have heard my share of speakers back in the day), but these do a solid job.

Great speakers, but overpriced
The tweeter is incredibly bright. Like, too bright. I would recommend running them active if possible.

Great SQ speakers
My installer was as excited and anxiously awaiting to hear these speakers hooked up. The crossovers do not have any dB adjustment, but we did lower it -3 dB at the HU. Once we had everything going, I loved the sound and it was as good if not better than my previous Image Dynamics idq65cs. Definitely starting to notice sound(s) I may not have before. Only thing I dislike about Morel is pricing, as I was tempted to go for their Morel Virtus 602 series. Overall, I'm satisfied and hope it will get better after breaking in. These are paired with some Morel Maximo Ultra 602 MkII coax for rears.
