The height of it is about the width of my palm. The little flap on top is so narrow i can't even push a crumpled water bottle thru it. It might be good for gum wrappers and a used tissue but thats about all. The hook is too thick for the door on my console keeping the door from snapping shut. I'll figure out someplace to keep it. Guess i should have read the dimensions before ordering, but judging from the ad photo i thought it was going to be about twice as tall as it actually is.
