SACHAJUAN Scalp Shampoo, Anti-Dandruff, Oily Hair, Salicylic Acid, 3.4 oz

This scalp shampoo was recommended on a black beauty blog to help cleanse the scalp for girls who have their hair in braids or crochet. I'm currently wearing passion twist crochet and would shampoo my hair once every 7 to 10 days. I use this shampoo with a scalp massager and these two products are a must when your hair is braided. Then I condition my scalp and then afterwards I would apply argan oil to my scalp. My scalp is dry and would have flakes/dandruff and on top of that product-build up so I needed a shampoo that would gently exfoliate my scalp, removing the dead skin, and styling products without stripping the natural oils from the scalp or hair folicles. It's pricey but I understand that the higher price point is from the high quality, plant-derived ingredients.

Use it every other shampoo because daughters hair is oily.

I purchased after reading it is good for dry scalp. I used 3 or 4 times and I had to use a deep conditioning mask after each use because I couldn’t get a brush through my hair. It also wasn’t soothing as other reviews suggested at all. I am really disappointed in the hype and ridiculous price only to do damage.

This did not work for my neutral sensitive scalp AT ALL. In fact, my scalp is drier and flakier than usual. The scent is nothing special either. It does give my hair nice shine but what is the use when it's not serving the sole purpose.

I love this shampoo. It smells and feels great on my scalp and I do think it's helping. It is a very small bottle at a steep price, but I think I would order it again.

I have looked at many, many products and purchased way too many useless ones......UNTIL......I found the Sachajuan line of products!! Their products are amazing for my type of hair which is mostly gray and fine. I also have a very sensitive scalp and this shampoo really cleans without harming my scalp or hair.

When the seasons change, doesn't matter if it's warm to cold or cold to warm, my scalp gets flaky. i immediately order the sachajuan shampoo and the moisturizing conditioner. I have had this issue for years - and have tried a number of shampoos when the flakiness starts - and i would LOVE IT if there was a cheaper choice. But sachajuan works - and to me that makes these products worth the money.

I rarely write a negative review, but this product deserves one. $14 isn't a fortune, but is a significant cost for SMALL bottle of shampoo. I used it for over a month before reviewing. Bottom line: it is worthless. Doesn't even do a good job of cleansing. Certainly did nothing for my itchy scalp, which is specifically why I purchased it. Very difficult to read description and directions on bottle. Take a pass on this product.

Will definitely purchase this again in a larger size. It worked first time and has soothed my scalp. I have tried so many different products and this has by far been the best.

As a sufferer of Seborrheic Dermatitis, I saw this shampoo recommended in a national newspaper as an effective treatment for the condition. My scalp itches and blisters frequently so any relief would be good. Unfortunately this isn't it. While it may work for some, this had little or no effect on my condition. In fact, after shampooing (following the barely legible instructions) my scalp was as itchy as it had been before I washed my hair. It is likely that the among the ingredients are those that aggravate my particular condition so rather than relieve it, it aggravates it. I am relieved that I only purchased 100ml. While it may work for some, this has been less than successful for me
