Very neat contraption for desk work
I got this as an alternative to a more expensive and smaller version I saw online. It works well for me, and I enjoy working at home more because this helps make my setup more comfortable. I wish there were a version of this that could strap to my wrist to secure it more, as my wrist will sometimes slip off of it. Otherwise, it glides just like my mouse on my desk. Overall very happy with the purchase

Make sure you know what you're getting!
This this is pretty neat, perfectly fits my wrist (although I guess that depends on your hand size, I'd say I have medium-large hands) and once I got used to it, it's pretty natural to put my wrist back on it the right way when switching from keyboard to mouse. The thing glides along my desk with my wrist on top of it just as easily as my mouse. Overall I guess it is pretty nice. I was just a little disappointed because I didn't look closely and thought I was getting a gel wrist pad, but I guess maybe this is better in some ways. In writing this review I talked myself into giving it 4 stars instead of 3.

A MUST HAVE
I had very low expectations as I presumed this was just another gimmick. I was wrong. This is the first wrist support that didn't become frustrating or uncomfortable within the first three minutes of use. Having used it for a few days, I find myself instinctively using it rather than reverting to old paindul habits. It fits any size hand with excellent neutral support without creating pressure points. It is especially gentle on thumb joints. It doesn't trap heat like fabric or gel-filled rests. True to claims - it really does glide smoothly across desk/table/counter tops, mousepads, tablecloths, and every other surface not heavily textured. For those with tactile/sensory issues - it is firm but not hard and has a soft almost velvet-like feel. It is not sticky, is odor-free, and cleans easily with a damp cloth. Several friends/family/co-workers have tried my rest and expressed approval and interest. I've ordered more to gift away and to keep as back-up in case mine gets relocated without my knowledge.

Great for office/casual productivity
Here's what you need to know: this product is for people who experience point pressure in their wrist while using their mouse. It essentially distributes that pressure across the lower portion of your palm. Because it moves with you, it's great if your purpose of use is for work/casual use, but may be a hinderance if you are gaming and require quick movements. The material is smooth, but its solid (aka its not gel like). I have a relatively wide palm, and this fit well for me. I can see how this may not work so well for people who have smaller hands/palms. I highly recommend this especially if you feel like your mouse is too small for your hands. It sort of positions your hand in a way that feels organic without creating point pressure. Would definitely buy again!

Custom size would make this product better
I have been using this product on and off for some time. It does provide wrist support to help using the mouse more comfortable. However, it takes a few tries to find the comfortable position and once you lift your hand to type, you will need to try to find that comfortable position again... The glide is pretty smooth on my mouse pad, but it does wobble a bit under my wrist when I move around on the pad... Overall, I think it serve it's purpose but not necessary a good buy

This is super cool
Makes my wrist much less pain. Slides like ice and sometimes gets chucked all the way across the room because it slides so well. I didn’t think I’d like it but I do! And the generic price makes a lot more sense than the brand. ONLY FOR RIGHT HAND!

thoughtful ergonomic concept
in over a year of buying this product and haven’t got used to it..in my case, it wasn’t comfortable in the hand. nevertheless the support product shows a thoughtful approach to ergonomics and is worth considering when focusing on wrist support during mouse use.

Works far better than I'd have thought from first impressions
This thing definitely feels a little clumsy when you first start using it, but once you get used to it, you realize two things: 1) It Definitely Works: Despite technically not being "padded", it's very comfortable against the base of your hand, and -- for me, at least -- it makes a _huge_ improvement. I used to consistently have a sore spot where the bone at the heel of my hand met my desk, and that has completely gone away. 2) You Don't Notice It: It actually gets very easy and automatic to re-position your hand against the wrist rest every time you put your hand back down to the mouse again. As you reach down to grab the mouse, you make contact with the pad, and then quickly scootch your hand and/or move the mouse to make it fit. It becomes totally unthinking. That last point, though, brings up the legitimate point that gamers make -- every time you lift your hand up off the mouse and then put it back down, you need to unconsciously scootch your hand into the cradle. If you're _not_ playing some fast-twitch game, then you'll never notice that micro-second interruption. If you are, then that one aspect can get a little frustrating. All I do is just slide it out of the way when I'm FPS-gaming, though. Overall, though, I'm _really_ glad I got this.
