KidKusion Deck Guard | Made in USA | 16' L x 38" H | Natural | Outdoor Balcony and Stairway Deck Rail Safety Net | Child Safety; Pet Safety; Toy Safety

I bought this in 2023 but never got around to using it. The reason I bought this for, was eliminated by a "varmint repeller" which has ultrasonic sound. However, a friend ended up needing it to keep her small dogs from jumping off of a second floor balcony. We installed it today with the included zip ties. It's attractive and relatively non obtrusive providing a clear view from the deck. Excellent product, fit for purpose, and so glad I held on to it, even though I ended up not needing it for my own personal home use. This also comes with some screw in eye rings for additional fastening of zip ties on the sides of the patio / deck railing. RECOMMEND

The KidKusion Deck Guard is crafted from high-quality, transparent plastic mesh, making it both sturdy and resilient against the elements while maintaining an unobstructed view. Its exceptional resistance to UV rays and various weather conditions ensures that it remains in pristine condition for a long time. One of the key features of this ingenious barrier is its ability to enhance safety for little ones and pets. By effectively filling the gaps in railings, it significantly reduces the risk of children or small animals slipping through, while also preventing toys and other cherished belongings from falling overboard from elevated areas. In addition to its practical safety benefits, the Deck Guard boasts an aesthetic appeal thanks to its clear material, which blends seamlessly with various deck and balcony designs. Unlike bulky or unattractive barriers that can disrupt outdoor views, this guard offers an elegant solution that does not interfere with the beauty of the surroundings. With a generous length and a formidable height, this guard is well-suited to cover most deck and stair railings, effectively acting as a reliable deterrent against climbing and accidental falls. As a proudly made-in-the-USA product, it adheres to strict safety and quality standards, providing families with a trustworthy option for safeguarding their loved ones.

Perfect for our back deck. Keeps kitty right where she needs to be. Strong and sturdy, kitty is always trying to figure how to get out but so far unsuccessful.

My cats want to be outside on the balconey, but from my balconey my cats are able to access parts of the roof and climb on to the top of the house where I absolutely do not want them. I felt I needed to put safety precautions in place including harnesses, an appropriate length/strength tether (I highly recommend this one: https://amzn.to/45jbK5l ), and this guard around the perimeter of the balconey. The netting came with eyelit screws and opaque zipties. I opted to use my staple gun to attach this to the balconey because I wanted more anchor points. That might not be the best idea because this is plastic, but it seems to be holding very well and didn't seem to damage the netting. It feels very durable. I can see the netting, it is clear but still somewhat visible. It is by far a more aesthetically pleasing option than metal chicken wire or some of the green colored options. My rental is like peachy pink and I wanted something that would look decent and not be an eyesore (my landlord doesnt care, he's done some questionable things around here, but I want my space to look nice. I really like it and highly recommend it.

I used it for our ramp, to prevent the baby from dropping. We cut the net to half, so it can fully cover each side, easy to implement, and it's very strong now.

This product was the best solution for a high balcony with children and a 36” railing. I designed it to safely enclose to 8 feet with tension rods vertically and horizontally, zip ties and 3 overlapping rolls of the really strong netting. Bought it in clear so it disappears from the outside so no HOA complaints and doesn’t spoil the view or block the breeze.

This product is fantastic for what we needed. It arrived in great condition with plenty of good quality zip ties. I can assure you that my husband is very handy and house projects have always been his specialty. Now that we are in an apartment with few projects to be had, this balcony barrier for our orange cat was a challenge of time and patience. He did not rush it. He meticulously placed the zip ties so that very little buckling would occur. I helped for about 3 hours of the 6 hours he spent. Please note that our balcony is about 65 feet long total so don’t freak out that yours will take as long. Our cat is now safe from slipping through (or should I say with his larger 8 year old frame, pushing through!). We will still always be outside with him and never leave him alone. The city noises are loud and disconcerting. Plus we are 9 stories up. Great barrier that does not block our sunset view nor can anyone detect it’s there from the outside looking in.

We ordered 30 feet in length for coverage on our ground level open patio. It was a one man job, easy to install, durable, a great value for the money, and the generous package of zip ties helped keep the net tight and we have plenty left for other projects I have no doubt that this is a fantastic item for an upper level deck or patio for a safety barrier for children or pets. Unfortunately for us, our pets were able to slip right under the net. It has nothing to do with the product. The size and structure of our ground level patio will require that we custom screen our patio to keep the pets, and grandkids from running off. The size, quality, and fit of this item checks all the boxes. While we won't be using it for our open patio, we do intend on using it for something around the yard, garden or house.

Is perfect for my balcony so that my cat won’t fall between the railings. Makes me feel confident that he’ll be safe.

Lo usé como red en el área de lavado para evitar que se lastimen mis gatos
