**Q: Is this a dish the butter fits into with a lid OR a bell dome lid where the butter is packed that seats into the base with water in it?**
A: It is a regular dish, place butter inside and the lid is regular.  I love mine, nice quality and looks great.

**Q: Is the color of this item creamy yellow or closer to an almond color**
A: It is an off white color. Almond or cream colored.

**Q: Does the lid have a rubber gasket seal or does it just rest on the top of the bottom piece?**
A: Rests on an lnner lip of bottom piece. Lid can slip inside dish when empty. Got stuck a few times. Doesn't hold a standard pound. Old fashioned pound. Wider and shallower.

**Q: Where is this Charlotte Watson butter dish made?**
A: Glass maybe porcelain I can't remember it ended up chipping  . The lid didn't fit very good either
