Exactly what I needed. I like it's wider and longer than your usual yoga mats. The colors are true to picture and really nice. I find it just the right thickness, it's a little thicker than your average yoga mat. It seems to be holding up well, It hasn't ripped after use and I've used it quite a bit.

This is quite possibly the best yoga/workout mat on Amazon. I tried and returned 4 other mats before getting to this one. I LOVE this mat. I do HIIT-style workouts at home and I needed a mat that was thick enough to cushion my feet/knees/wrists and did not slip on my hard tile floor. This mat finally did all of those things. It’s thick enough that my wrists and knees do not hurt during floor exercises. It does NOT slip on the tile floor even during fast lateral moves. And I do not slip on it even when I’m sweaty. And to top it all off, it comes in a pretty color. I could not be happier. It’s also a nice size. I’m 5’10” and I wish it was a little longer, but it’s not the end of the world. However, if they ever made this exact mat in a longer version, I would buy it. It is bigger than most “normal” yoga mats I’ve bought, so please don’t let my comment on size discourage you from this product. All I’m saying is that if a longer one ever existed, I would get it. Haha. Another couple pluses that I just thought of: it’s easy to wipe down and clean and it unrolls nicely and becomes flat pretty quickly. I tried a couple other thick mats and the end never fully unfurled. I don’t roll this up super tight, so that probably helps. Also, it seems like it has a sturdy surface that won’t flake or crack. One of the other mats had splits in the surface of it after only one use. I’ve used this one a couple times now with shoes on and the surface is still intact. This one MIGHT even resist dog nails, but I love this mat so much that I am NOT letting my baby on it (no matter how hard he tries)! Wow, I just talked so long about a yoga mat… now y’all know how amazing it is. Don’t try to get the $30 ones if you want a thick mat that won’t slip on hard floors. I’ve tried almost all of them. Just get this one!Update: Only downside of this mat is the horribly useless strap that comes with it. I just re-bought this mat about a year after buying my first one and, despite all the negative comments about the strap, this company is still using the same one. Such a shame. It’s way too small, so it’s hard to get over the mat, and then you’re left with just a teeny length in the middle with which to carry it. I still love the mat though and I’m only buying it again to have one for my mom when she comes to visit.

I really have been enjoying this yoga mat as my joints are sensitive and it’s thick yet just firm enough. I actually use my old thicker mat on top of it, it’s too soft to use by itself and lets my knees feel floor hardness but the Hatha mat is great. At first it left some residue on my hands, which rubbed off similar to the way dirtiness rubs off as you rub your hands together, but that didn’t last. As others have mentioned, the fastener is truly a wide shoelace, so I use an adjustable belt-type fastener of which I have a couple saved from other things. The wideness of the mat is perfect for postures that require opening the knees farther apart. I would give it a 5 star rating if the shoelace has been a real strap. I highly recommend this product.

Super comfy and wide enough to support me. The included string to carry it honestly sucks, but I don't really take it anywhere. (Just get a yoga mat bag.) The mat itself is really nice. Just as the others mentioned, it smelled like the factory, so I let it air out in the sun and now it's fine. It also can be punctured by dog nails. My dog left some divots behind for me to remember him. I think they give it character, for every scar tells a story. I love mine for it's thickness and large size, but if you're reading this, the main problems are: it's hard to travel with, must be broken in, and can tear.

Wow, this is a really nice, high quality yoga mat. I highly recommend this to anyone that has hardwood floors and want a nice pad for yoga and stretching. Well worth the money.

I'm new to Yoga and I loved my first class. However, most mats are 24 inches wide and my shoulders are wider than that (weight lifting). I sweat a lot and I used a hand-me-down mat from my sister. Besides the size, it was slick and I slid all over it.Since I know I'm going to practice Yoga for the rest of my life, I purchased this Hatha Yoga mat. I'm a Vine Voice for Amazon and most of my reviews are in exchange for the product, I purchased this mat. It is non slip, thick and supportive and at 36" inches wide I don't have to move my hands under my nipples to keep them on the mat. My shoulder blades don't hit hardwood either, only mat.The mat does have a chemical smell, which the manufacturer mentions. It went away after a week. It comes with a cord to keep it rolled. It was very tightly rolled when I opened it. I hung it over a shower curtain rod for several days, but the ends were not relaxing and the mat would not lie flat. So I came up with an effective solution which is shown in the picture. I wrapped the mat around my washing machine and pinched one end against a wall and the other against the dryer. It works like a charm. I'm looking forward to feeling better.

Para hacer ejercicio esta super, pero para hacer yoga específicamente no lo recomendaría, en los asanas me la paso resbalandome, esta bien padre que este grueso para las articulaciones pero estar cuidando de irte resbalando hace más difícil concentrarte en la practica

My hubby loves it . He is a 220 lbs and this yoga mat is absolutely amazing. Is thick and you don’t feel the floor underneath. Made for heavier people.
