Product was as described but needs directions on how to mix grout correctly for this bag.

I was skeptical on how well these bags would hold up and how easy they would be to use. I have done some minor tuck pointing here and there but this item is a game changer. They make the mortar go exactly where you want it. No sloppy dribbles or messy mix being spilled. The trick is to make sure the mix is just a little bit on the wet side. Not a lot or it just pours out the opening. Make sure you fold the bag on the wide end multiple times so the mix doesn't come out that end.

I use grout bags a lot in building block walls. We wear them out or lose them. The little pointing trowel and the striking tool were just icing on the cake here.

I loved the product it worked perfectly for brick facing. If the bag had a nozzle cover and a clamp for the opening of the bag after you fill it up so that the cement won't come out because the bag is very long also you might have to get a cement rock out of the nozzle here and there.I might try cutting it down some. It's definitely worth the money and easy to clean. EASY to use aswell.

I really wished this would have worked for me. I was trying to fill 1/4” -1/2” cracks around my old cobblestone chimney. So I made a very watery mortar type S mix, and I tried progressively cutting the tip off (like some had suggested) to make it flow easier. If I had made the mixture any wetter, it would just drip out of the joint once applied. Eventually I couldn’t cut the tip any bigger without defeating the purpose of the bag entirely. In the end it was easier to just put on some gloves and pack the joints with my fingers and some tools. I have pretty strong grip strength and for the life of me, I couldn’t physically squeeze this hard enough to get the mortar to feed through the tip of the bag. Legitimately need hulk hands to squeeze mortar type S through it. Maybe with a different type of mortar it would work better, but with type S the sand just all plugs up at the tip like a rock. Clean up was a breeze though! I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately it did not work for my application.

Exactly as described! We used the kit to help us with grouting our newly installed brick wall. It was fantastic and made the job so much easier.

I was using one of the bags I brought the grout up some 20mm bluestone pavers with a 5mm grout gap. Bag was going great until it split open on the seam, started to use another bag and by the end of the grouting that to started to give way at the seam. Area I had to grout was only 60m2 and the pavers were 800mm x 400mm so not that many lines.. bags need to be reinforced along the seams.

Very large bags. The only issue I had was if the mortar a little too thick the bag seam would split under pressure. Keep bags clean after few fill ups to keep mortar easy too use. 3 x bags with tools.
