Ethiopian opal
Well, once again, I ordered something way too small. But it’s a cute little piece of rock. I don’t know how I’m going to use it yet. Good Seller took some time to get here because it’s coming from Ethiopia Africa. No pictures no videos.

The replacement stone is even worse than the first one.
There is no color to the stone I received. It is also brown on the reverse side. I find it hard to believe that Amazon allows this company to be part of Amazon. False advertising :(SECOND STONE:The second stone has VERY faint pink color but still looks like something you might find at the beach. Several edges/sides are rough brown color and texture. It doesn't even come close to looking like the picture shown of an Opal. I didn't expect my stone to look like the picture, but I did expect the stone to look like an opal. I am presently making a necklace using OPAL beads sooooo I KNOW what they look like.

Raw Stone
I thought it would be larger. I wanted something I could hold kinda like a worry stone, but it is beautiful and sparkly. It’s very raw, Like you could’ve picked it out of the stream yourself or something. If you up to the light, it does have pretty color. I’ll probably put it in one of my potted plants or something. I need to pay more attention to measurements and sizes.

very beautiful
it is important to know the size of the item that you are buying and remember it, I often get surprised when the product arrives, and it is small, I go back to my order and discover it is the right size I bought.

Not like the picture at ALL
I love crystals, and wanted to gift this to my friend for her birthday since opal is her birthstone.Bit of a backstory- my cat had a dead decaying tooth that fell out a few days before this arrived. When I opened up the package I thought my boyfriend had pranked me and taken the tooth from the trash and packaged up the tooth to deliver to me.It was smaller than my pinky nail, a deep dark brown with a tiny hint of white to it.Definitely do not recommend. (Please note I’m not being dramatic at all, I wish I had taken a picture because you would have known what I meant by the dead cat tooth comparison)

Small, dull, no fire
This is both opals I purchased sitting beside a water bottle cap. They are very small. Despite putting them under light and using flash to photograph, they still look like small, plain pebbles and there is no glow. I believe that they are opal, but they look absolutely nothing like the photo provided. I didn't expect them to be large, but I was expecting opal fire as advertised. They cannot be used for my intended purpose. The seller should change the photo to make the expectations more realistic. I imagine folks would still purchase, but when the picture appears to be a large, almost glowing fire opal and you receive tiny, pebble like, dull opals it clearly isn't "as advertised".Positives do include that they arrived quickly, were well packaged and the seller did send via registered mail to assure the stones arrived.

More stone than opal
Hi all, For the small price, I expected them to be small slices. But they didn't show as much opal like pic when I ordered. They're bigger stones with opals inside rocks. I guess with proper tools you could improve appearance. The ones I received are shown above. I do like that what little I see seems to have the opal fire in them.

Will definitely buy from again!
Rougher than the image, still a lot of stone encasing the gem. The color of opal is gorgeous! I bought for my son, an amateur gem collector but I may keep it for mine, lol. It was well over 2 ct, which makes up for the stone left on the outside of the opal. It got here swiftly & safely too. Will definitely come back to them to buy gems in the future!
