Is the new helix cup (screw fit lid) truly leakproof as shown on keepcup’s social media? and, does it remain leakproof after months of usage?

Mine is clip push on not screw - so not quite what you asked. This is fine from spillage perspective in normal use but wouldn’t turn upside down. I’ve had it for 2 years

How long does it keep drinks hot for?

I’d say longer than realistically you could need. Coffee still drinkable after an hour in an air conditioned car.

Is the Keepcup Helix thermal 100% leakproof and will be leakproof if carried in a bag or backpack?

Yes but not for long. . The lids are very close fitting push on ones but all 3 of the ones I bought no longer fit closely and now leak. This took about 4mths or so and its difficult to get anything done replacements etc. If you need leak proof don't waste your money.

Does the coffee have a metal taste?

I bought this as a birthday present for a friend who absolutely loved it. They have never ever mentioned a metallic taste at all.
