Does not last. This seemed sturdy enough when it arrived, but after six months with two of these supporting a not-huge gate (certainly way less than the combined 1320lb weight limit stated) they have failed. the inner bearings seem to have completely disintegrated and they do not roll anymore.

Excellent producer, exactly what I needed, expected and as advertised

Great idea. However, should use a better bearings for this wheel and needed spacers for proper operation. The spacers. I bought stainless steel washers and grind out the diameter for the bolt (or shaft) to fit. The bearings. I removed the grease bearing seals and added more grease. The bearings is still very rough. I would replace the bearings before use. The shaft or bolt will wear out due to improper designed. The bolt is the weakest link in this design due to sloppy or loose fitting.
