Overcoming Lifeโs Difficulties for Kids
This is a great book for teaching children about responding in positive ways to difficult challenges, using metaphors and a fable-like story to learn about personal growth, overcoming peer pressure and creating positive healthy outcomes. Applicable to all ages, children can feel better about themselves and their circumstances. Highly recommended, especially for children facing traumatic events such as family break-ups to or struggling with self-esteem and school.

Another great kids book from Jon Gordon Co.
Showing kids the power of being positive is not an easy task. But Authors Jon Gordon and Damon West nailed it with their new childrenโs book The Coffee Bean for Kids, marvelously illustrated by Korey Scott. A spin-off of their adult book The Coffee Bean, the childrenโs version hits the mark on showing our youngsters the value of spreading their positivity around. I love that the emphasis is that โit all starts with you kid!โ Being a coffee bean and positively transforming those around you can lead to awesome leadership skills when we get older.I canโt wait to read Coffee Bean for Kids to my grandkids and kids at school. Great job Jon, Damon and Korey!

Well received by my 6th grade class
I do SEL lessons and this book is a great one. Iโm going to try and start a coffee bean club at school. Be cautious with object lessons and 10-11 year olds. I gave them each a coffee bean to put in their pocket like the example in the book. By the end of the day I heard a kid ate their coffee bean and threw up. Coffee beans were crushed in the floor of other teacherโs rooms. I should have known, but I am hoping the majority of them took t her lesson to heart. Iโm currently reading the one for adults.

Kids love the idea
I bought this to teach my daughter who is often grumpy to be more positive. Initially reading the book they like the idea and we're quite excited to be coffee beans. So now everyday we make a point to talk about it and to continue our goal of being coffee beans. I think it's a good book for all kids as it's life lesson is lifelong. A good lesson for everyone to live by. I plan on buying coffee, bean necklaces or keychains for them to help enforce the idea.
