The elastic is stretchable and is of moderately good quality the unexpected sewing needles are good ones and is actually a good to have implement for sewing the elastic if you don't have a sewing machine.

I was struggling with this wig and once I used this baby here, it was perfect. The elastic doesn’t give me a headache (measured my width before cutting). Easy to sew it to the wig. I felt my wig secured on my head. A great value for the price because I can use it for many wigs. I still have a good amount left over for other wigs to come. The size is wide but not too wide to show. It performs the job well.

I really like this for its grip. It’s very comfortable against skin. It’s durable and stays soft. It is very challenging to sew on a sewing machine because the silicone grip grips either the foot or the dogs, so it doesn’t “walk” correctly…..not at all actually. . I use a strip of paper to cover the silicone. If it gets sewn into the stitching, it will dissolve eventually. Working with stretchy fabric, stretchy grip, and non stretchy paper is awkward… but I am getting better each time.

I have a Garmin heart rate monitor chest strap for my multi-sport watch. This particular chest strap has an elastic extension strap to help keep it in place while swimming and running. My original strap has been failing, and replacements are a bloody fortune from the manufacturer, so I decided to order a roll of this elastic strap and fabricate a replacement on a sewing machine. I was a bit concerned about this strap, since nobody seemed to comment about whether the strap would hold up after repeated exposure to chlorine, but I decided to see for myself and report on my findings after using it for a while. It has now been nearly three months of swimming 2,000-3,000 yards every other day in pools treated with either a mixture of chlorine and salt or just chlorine. I rinse the strap after every use. I am happy to report that the material seems to be as good as new. Meanwhile, a swimsuit that I bought, which was supposed to be 100% polyester, has failed completely over the same period of time. Have no fear! You can definitely use this elastic strap material on swimming equipment and clothing. I hope this helps.

Exactly as advertised bought it to mod a Kamen Rider Belt to give it more length it’s the best size for it
