Slick 50 Original Engine Treatment with Cerflon® PTFE

2012 Impala 160k miles. Literally just bought a quart & recently did an oil change 1k miles ago. I was excited to try it after reading the reviews. I did notice my engine/car was running smoother. In that first 1k miles. Idled better, couldn’t really tell any improvement in gas mileage but I wasn’t looking either. The car didn’t growl as loud as she did. I was really happy with the results. Then, we were coming home from Michigan in a monsoon. About 1/2 hr away from home on 294 I smelled what I thought was burning rubber from idk what! Then I started seeing smoke coming from under the hood. I was trying to get home as fast as I could in the middle of the night now. I hit a giant puddle and whatever that did started the symptoms. At first I thought it was just steam from the exhaust. I made it home & shut it off right away. I came out the next morning to see what happened & when I pulled the dipstick it was blank! My heart sank. Small puddle of oil in the driveway so at least there was maybe a quart left? Later discovered the cheap store brand oil filter gasket was the cause. I always buy WIX too, but I got this one free with an oil purchase. Never again. A 10 cent gasket almost cost me my engine. But I have to believe Slick 50 saved my engine. Put a new WIX filter on, added more synthetic oil, and another bottle of Slick 50 and she runs like new. I can’t believe it. What are the odds I just added it?!

This is some good stuff. works great coating the grille. way better than olive oil.

We've been using this product for many years and find it very good and useful and extending the life of our cars. Highly recommended

I TRULY this product is buying me time on my engine. It's the dreaded 5.7 Dodge hemi knock. I have used 1 quart with each last two oil changes. Seems to have calmed the knocking somewhat. The knock sensor code goes out now so it's doing something.

There's nothing even close to this product if you have any type of motor that may get hot or has any type of friction this is the only lubricant ya should be using hands down this stuff is incredibl ya need to see how it works to believe it IT GOES TO THE HEAT 🥵 not like oil that runs from heat ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PRODUCT THANK YOU!!!!!!

I used it for all my gasoline engine cars and so far so good

I was skeptical of reviews. But I was in an accident that put a hole in my engine block. Which caused all the oil to leak out. But unknowingly I drove over 40 miles with no oil. Engine didn't over heat til end of trip. Pulled over let it cool. And was able to make it the last 2 miles to house. Engine did not seize and starts as if it has oil in it. The product does what it claims!

I'll give a really short & to the point testimony of this product! I'm not sure how many know, or might even fully understand how the Early VW beetle cooling system worked? It only had Engine Oil to Cool & keep the Engine from Locking up! Yet, while driving to work one day after changing my engine Oil and adding this exact product to my VW engine, my Fan belt broke which kept the VW Engine Cooled while driving. After the Fan belt broke, I had to keep driving to get the car off of the highway where I was on my way to work. I thought, surely the engine is SHOT? But, after I kept driving all the way to work, the VW Engine kept running and NEVER LOCKED UP? I got to work on time without stopping on the side of the road and waited until after I got off work to replace my broken Fan belt. All the while as I was working, I thought I would have to have my VW towed home that day? Little did I know, that after I replaced my broken Fan belt. I went to start my car, and it STARTED RIGHT UP, and Ran Like a CHAMP!! I immediately knew WHY it was Still Running!! Since then, I have Been a SLICK 50's FAN!! A True Diehard, that has literally USED this product in EVERY SINGLE Car/Truck I have Owned since that incident on that faithful Day! Prove for yourself what I say!

I use this in all my engines

fixed the problem
