Strong creole flavor
A number of years back, when visiting New Orleans, we came upon Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning. We have used it regularly ever since. Its tasty, strong flavor makes for a genuine creole experience with just about any creole dish. It's great having a jar on hand at all times. One warning: It is rather salty, and its best used in moderation, since using more than a quarter teaspoon at a time can make a dish too salty. One quarter-teaspoon serving contains 13% of the DV of sodium. We're able to get by with using about this amount.
