Hayabusa S4 Leather Boxing Gloves

I've been putting these gloves to the test 5 days a week. They have quickly become my most essential piece of gear. Finding gloves that balance heavy sparring protection with anatomical comfort can be tough, but these hit the mark completely. The size accommodates my larger hands. Quite durable and nice leather.

A solid choice for a beginner like myself. The leather seems durable; I've been using them for over a year with 1-2 sessions per week, and they still look virtually new. The classic brown color is a nice touch. The 14oz size fits my medium-large hands perfectly, and the padding is holding up well so far. The wrist support is a lifesaver, and I the microfiber thumb material is great for wiping sweat mid-session. However, there are a few issues. The grip bar inside makes it a bit tricky to close your fist properly, and the elastic bands in the wrist area started to fray after a few months. Also, the color was quite different from the photo; mine are a much lighter brown, closer to tan. These are my first pair of boxing gloves so I can't compare them to other brands, but I think I'll try another brand/model next time round to see if it fixes the grip bar issue.

The Hayabusa S4 Leather Boxing Gloves for Women & Men are absolutely worth the price. I love the colors, the soft yet durable leather, and the overall craftsmanship. The gloves have excellent wrist protection — as someone with previous wrist injuries, I feel fully supported even without wraps underneath. The leather is thick but not overly stiff, striking a perfect balance between comfort and durability. They also have that authentic leather scent — nothing synthetic or chemical — and came ready to use straight out of the box. Easy to break in, protective, and beautifully made, these gloves make me look forward to every training session.

Product has lasted me 4-5 years of near daily use for both bagwork and sparring and appears to have another 5 years left in it. Purely cosmetic wear down only. Completely Comfortable and supportive. Padding still at 100%

These gloves are awesome. They provide ample support and sound good on the bag. In the beginning they were very snug to put on, but the rubber bands have loosened a bit with use and they're now easier to put on and off. I love the microfiber thumbs to wipe off sweat with. Size wise they're not very big, perfect for women.

Gloves are very well made, look great and do a great job of protecting my hands and wrists against the heavy bag. I am 5’10 with an average size hand and the gloves fit well. They are a little tight to get on with wraps but are comfortable with the wraps. I just bought the their shin guards since I liked this product so much. Product was delivered on time.

The first thing that jumped out when I put these on was how supportive they were on the wrist. I like leather gloves because you get a better pop when you hit the pads with them vs microfiber ones. The white is super clean and sharp. Dense padding in the knuckle area, which offers nice protection for those who hit hard. Snug with wraps but they will break in once I get a few more sessions in I'm sure. If your budget for new gloves is around $100 then I would recommend looking at the S4 Leather series for sure.

Exactly what I was after: big, heavy(ish) - 16oz - tough and great for beginner bag work.
