Arrived well packaged in new condition. I bought this product specifically to cover the exposed surface of the alligator clips on the several battery chargers I used for my trail cameras. I used the red color product on the positive lead of the charger, after cleaning thoroughly with alcohol. It sticks very well, dried within 24 hours. At this time, more than a month, I see no separation on the clip surface. I believe this is going to work out well as a low voltage insulator. I will order a container of black in the coming days.

Durable coating, will need two coats for the typical thickness found on hand tool handles, but sets up nicely. Has proven to be oil resistant so far.If the product is cooler than room temp, it will apply a bit thicker.Dry time was not a major concern for me - re-coat in 30, and let stand overnight.

Works and looks fine for most purposes. Most any petroleum based product will dissolve it, so not really great for garage use. Also one it is opened the shelf live is greatly reduced. So plan you use and use it all at once.

Good stuff! Each dip results in a fairly thick coating of an object. Dried color a LITTLE bit duller than the wet color, but this is not an issue for what I use it for. Once opened, the product is kept fresh with a plastic lid, similar to a pringles can lid. I hope it doesn't degrade as some plastics do.

I have previously used commercial plastic dips similar to this and not had and not had nearly as nice an outcome as I did with this Pasti-Dip material.We have several high-end kitchen knives what came with some nice "soft" silicone like "permanent" handle covers that over time and use began to split leaving the bare handles much smaller and very uncomfortable. Since I knew that this type of product was available I looked on Amazon and found this Plasti-Dip. I masked off the handles and I dipped each handle five times to build-up this size of the handles following the directions to the letter. After each dipping I hung the knives vertically in a warm room to dry between dippings. The material is self-leveling and came out perfectly smooth and very comfortable in the hand when finished. There wasn't a bump, drip or imperfection anywhere on any of these newly perfect handles on our beloved knives and they look great too.It's a great product for so many things possibly limited only by your imagination. I highly recommend Plasti-Dip!!

I have this plastic dip in black and have used it to coat pliars handles and knife handles. I bought a pair of new scissors but there was no coating on the handles so they hurt my hands every time I used them. I didn’t want to have black handles so I ordered the plastic dip in the red. I coated the handles in red and what a difference! I can use the scissors without pain to my hands. I recommend this product.

I bought this to dip the handles of my tools, where they come with bare knurled shafts. 2 coats minimum gives a good grippy cover, 4 is good and thick. The fumes are pretty hardcore and you really have to follow the instructions and dip and remove slowly, otherwise they end up covered in unsightly bubbles, but otherwise no issues.
