Bissell spin mop = beautiful shiny floors!!
Once I took this out of the box, it took all of 10 seconds to put together. I filled the dispenser according to the instructions and proceeded to clean my floors. I own a steam mop, a cedar spin mop, swiffer, vacuums, and all work fine, But the Bissell is by far the best purchase i made. My wood floors and the laminate in my kitchen looked brand new. There was no residue or film on my floors. This machine cleaned my floors beautifully. The machine itself was sturdy and easy to use. The speed was perfect and I had to put minimal effort as the machine actually did the work for me. It was a perfect size, not too big to maneuver. The round pads made it easy enough to clean the corners by the wall. There was no refuse left on my wood floors just a nice clean shine. The Bissell cleaner samplers had a light pleasant scent that was not overwhelming. I was 100 percent pleased with my purchase and loved the shine on my floors.

Best purchase
I love this thing. It’s faster and easier to clean my floors with this versus a o-cedar spin mop and swiffer wet jet. I always had to make multiple trips to dump and refill water with the o-cedar spin mop. I hated the floppy head attached to the short handle too. I tried the original and even the separated compartment one! My home isn’t very big but it was an annoying chore that I didn’t like to do because I’m lazy. The swiffer wet jet left a film on my floor unless you specifically used it with the hardwood solution but it still wasn’t that good at removing stains or spills overall. But with the fancy Bissell Spinwave (here I go sounding like a commercial…) I pop on some microfiber pads at the bottom and slosh together some solution with water and I’m ready to go! It glides across the floor like butter with is so satisfying yet weird. It can’t get to the sharp corners but it gets really close to the wall edges though! I don’t wear shoes in the house but I do have cats that track litter and sometimes have their puke moments. Even though I pick/vacuum them up beforehand, they still leave residue on the floor. With the spinwave, if the stain is hard to remove after one pass, all I have to do is spray some more solution and go over it 1-2 more times real quick before it’s gone. It’s like self propelled lawn mowers and vacuums but in mop form. I don’t have to necessarily shove it forward but instead it helps guide me to where I (we) want it to go. It also lets the floors dry fast and if I’m not sure the floor is clean enough, I can go through it again with plain water just to make sure. It’s such an effortless thing that feels faster than the traditional ways of mopping that I feel that it could suit a large range of households. I wash the mop pads in the washing machine using hot water (with bleach or even regular detergent) so I don’t have to worry about ordering more pad “refills”. I have yet to experience any leaking and even sometimes forget I still have some solution left in the compartment. I’ll update my review if things take a turn for the worse but so far I enjoy using it!

So much better than manual mop
I love this mop! I've had it for over 6 months now, and it has changed my life compared to a manual mop. Super worth the money. It is so easy to use, it propels itself, you could use it one handed, if need be, which is great when you have a baby. Speaking of kids, I super appreciate how due to the spray/scrubber design of the mop, you don't have to use nearly as much water as with a manual mop, which makes the floor dry way faster, which makes it possible to mop during the day when the kids are running around, which makes my life way easier. It is also way faster/easier maintenance-wise and getting-started-wise, which makes it easier to do more often. You just fill up the little water reservoir, the amount markings are on there already for water AND soap so that you don't have to measure the soap!! It's a little thing, but makes such a big mental difference. And then you stick it in the mop, plug in the mop, and go. After, you have to just quickly rinse out the water reservoir, and then replace the pads on the mop, sticking the old into the wash. Also love how I don't have to lug around and keep dumping and refilling a big obnoxious bucket. The scrubbing pad + soap is very effective at getting caked on things. There are times when a manual mop might be a little better for really being able to scrub at hardened on spots, but to be honest, there were times when even that was ineffective for me and I had to just get on my hands and knees anyway. With this mop, you can just put it on top of the stubborn spot and let it scrub for a while if you are feeling lazy. I haven't noticed any issues with streaking, but my floors are patterned in a way that makes it a bit hard to tell. You could easily switch out mop pads halfway through though if it was an issue. The mop head is very maneuverable, and due to the design, gets right into the baseboards, no gap at all. It is a great size to get into the spaces it needs to go. The other type of mop I was considering was a combined vacuum-mop. I didn't buy it so I can't speak to which would have been better, but one thing people mentioned was the extra maintenance on that type of mop, and I've been very happy not having to have extra maintenance.

Used units are being sold as new, use caution
This is the third time I've gotten a Bissell product from Amazon that was used and cleaned up and refurbished before being resold. Very frustrating! I'd almost guess Bissell does this themselves because it looks professionally repackaged and cleaned. Luckily there isn't much to the Spin Wave that can go wrong, so please observe the following before you use it: 1. Fill the tank with water and spray it out a few times to flush out whatever was leftover inside the pipe leading from the tank to the mop part. As expected when I plugged mine in there was already liquid from the previous user, even though the tank itself was dry. 2. Clean out the tank. Mine looked OK but had a lot of hard water stains from the previous user, so I scrubbed it out with a bottle cleaner and hot soap and water just to be careful. There was some weird white residue on the tank filter I couldn't remove but it seems harmless. 3. Wash the mop pads before you use them and inspect them. Again, mine looked clean but since it was a used unit being resold as new I didn't want to take any chances. Mine came with two installed and four additional ones which was quite nice. All that aside, it works well. It will not do a deep cleaning of your tile floor but it will do a good job scrubbing and disinfecting without you having to be on your hands and knees doing the same work. I don't know how well it is for big messes but it did a fine job with my floor and I'm pleased. It's a a real time saver. Because of the circular motion of the pads if something hard or abrasive gets stuck in the pad it will drag that along your floor repeatedly, potentially causing damage. So you need to do vacuum everything quite well first, and if you think anything is wrong while using the mop, turn it off and inspect the pads for anything sharp. That's really the only catch, other than that it's super easy to use. Note that the unit comes with two "Wood floor" trial sized bottles of cleaner so you may need to order a full size bottle of whatever you need in addition to the Spin Wave. Overall it's a great unit but I guess I have to warn that with any Bissell product, really check it and clean it first in case it was used. I wish Bissell products that are sold as new were actually new but there's a pretty clear pattern here.

Kitchen Game Changer!
This SpinWave is one of those products you don’t realize you needed until you use it. It makes cleaning my floors stupid easy — just plug it in, hit the button, and let it glide. The spinning pads do all the work, and it actually lifts dirt instead of just smearing it around like some other cleaners I’ve tried. The washable pads are clutch because I can clean them and reuse them instead of constantly buying replacements. It’s quiet, smooth, and honestly kind of satisfying to use. My floors look noticeably better after a quick pass, especially in high‑traffic areas. If you’ve got sealed floors and want something effortless, this thing is a game‑changer and I'm recommending it to any fan and friends with wood/vinyl flooring

Easy to use, clean floors after!
The short story is it is easy to use and works so well! I would purchase it again without a thought if i needed. Floors look amazing! The long story... I was hesitant to buy this but I really needed to get something. We have a 60 pound lab mix and just got an Irish Setter puppy. Both love going inside and outside all day. Vacuuming our house and using a hand push Bona just became impractical. (Tile downstairs and LVP upstairs, no carpet other than rugs.) I had been willing to pay the almost $1000 price tag on the Dyson Submarine, but the reviews and videos just didn't make me a believer. (We currently have a cord and cordless Dyson so we are already brand supporters). I found that this item and the product description made sense as well as the video and reviews. The packaging was over engineered, no chance the items inside could be damaged unless run over by a bus. Assembly was very easy, it was pretty much already fully put together. I can't say anything about the cleaning samples they sent, I have just been using water or water with a small touch of vinegar, but there were 3 that came with it. But my floors!!! Wow!!! I wet the mop heads before use with water and when I turn this on it simply glides over the tile floors. The amount of fluid you squirt while cleaning will lengthen drying time but my tile dries in about 2-10 minutes. The LVP I am more judicious with the spray so it dries faster, more like 1-2 minutes. The dogs walk around on the floors before the water dries but I never see prints when dry (tile and LVP are a faux wood plank, walnut color.) The mop heads are white when you get them but they certainly won't stay that color. The first use amazed me in how much dirt and dust we had... like ewe^10. After one use and a wash in the washer they were a light gray. After using them weekly for about three months they have settled into a nice medium gray tone after going through the washer. It amazes me how dirty these two dogs and two people can be! But my floors look and feel amazing. I do vacuum the floors first, then use the Bissel. For my downstairs (1000 square feet) I am done in about 30-45 minutes. Upstairs there are more items to move around as well as closets and bathrooms to go in and out of. I would say upstairs (1000 square feet) is more like 45 - 60 minutes. Again, those times include vacuum and mop use as well as dry time.) It comes with two or three sets of mop heads I think, but I bought extra so that I could trade them out as they got dirty and get a couple with more umph at scrubbing if needed. (Have not needed the scrubbers yet.) I use 2-3 sets downstairs since that is higher traffic and can usually get away with just one, sometimes 2, upstairs. They are velcro and I haven't had any issues with them coming off during use so far. The soft side of the velcro is on the mop head so they don't snag on things in the washer. I am 💯 in love with this product. I won't say I look forward to cleaning, but I do love how clean the floors feel to walk on after I am done. My husband is a super fan of the product as well!!! My dogs, the jury is still out with them. Added benefit - our puppy was smart and potty trained pretty easily. But there were accidents for the first few months. We got this item when she was about 2 1/2 months old, but the main room we kept her in had a little urine smell to it. After using this product for a couple weeks the smell was gone completely.

How did I live without this?
I have to say this is the best purchase of home products I have ever made. I always avoided cleaning my kitchen hard wood floors because I never could find a mop that was good enough so I did it by hand. Let me tell you....my life is changed. I went weeks in the past before feeling like I had the energy and time to do the floors, but now it is fast and FUN!!!! This gem of a tool is light enough to carry and maneuver, but heavy enough to push down and clean the floor with the rotating velcro attached cleaning pads. I've washed my floors twice this week! You will absolutely love this thing! I bought one for myself and my daughter's home. GAME CHANGER!

Toss your mops and let this little, lightweight machine do the scrubbing!
I love this machine. We have sealed wood and limestone floors and they’ve never looked cleaner. We’ve lived in this home for 25 years and until seeing this machine on a list of products recommended by a reviewer we came across on Instagram, we never thought of cleaning our floors any other way than with a microfiber mop and spray bottle of cleanser. But the Amazon reviews of this device were enthusiastic, its price was so modest, and returning Amazon purchases is so easy that I decided to give it a try. We are very grateful that I did. The machine is quiet, light, and very easy to maneuver. The pads are easy to install and remove, and it’s great that for that price you get 2 sets of regular pads and 1 set of heavy duty pads. The sample cleaners are concentrated and lasted longer than I had imagined given their size, did an excellent job, and left no residue. The bottle which holds the cleanser on the machine is easy to remove and has lines showing you how much cleanser and water to use for both small jobs and large ones. The bottom line is that there is no way that we would be willing to expend the energy required to push a mop head back and forth over a section of floor as many times as this little machine does so quickly and easily with its simple spinning motion. And that’s why our floors now look so remarkably good!
