The fit was perfect
The grandfather clock I have has been in the family for years so when the latch broke I was worried I couldn’t find a replacement. I did and it works perfectly!!

Worked Perfectly!
Worked perfectly and a good match to my lock on the Herman Miller grandfather clock.

good replacement for older cabinet locks
Used to replace a broken lock on a grandfather clock door from the 70's. The screw pattern matched the broken lock and I was able to use the existing outside trim to make it look unaltered from the original.

Did the job.
This product did the job, however I would not recommend for every day use.

Cheaper than it looks
This lock is cheap and you do get what you pay for. The tumbler mechanism does not go through the door. To install, you need to drill a hole through the door with the lock on the inside and the key hole on the other. Then, to access the lock you need to fish the key through the hole in the door and feel your way to the keyhole in the lock on the other side. This can be difficult and if not done exactly right it's easy to twist the key. The mounting screws are very poor quality. They twisted off and broke while installing the lock even with pre-drilling the holes. The outside lock cover is held on by two cheap nails. Go with an alternative if you can find it.

Mounting screws are cheap
The lock and key are good but the mounting screws are cheap. I drilled pilot holes and head’s broke off before getting them half way in. I had use pliers to back the out. Went to the local hardware store and bought solid brass screws to mount the lock
