I love these items because of the convenience and the quality. I know making a shake is not a lot of work. but there is nothing like getting one of these from the fridge, drinking it and being done with it. Especially in the morning. Im not a breakfast person and this is the perfect breakfast for me. Couple of thing to keep in mind when you order this though: 1) My first order came on time and everything. But two of the bottles burst. So it was dripping all over the place. I heard the doorbell ring, opened the door and saw the box and saw a big puddle of chocolate protein shake underneath it. It's a pretty big box and carrying it in caused chocolate drippage all over the doorway to the kitchen. So that was a bummer and took a while to clean up. 2) the second time I ordered, one of the bottles was spoiled. It was this thick goopy guk and had a faint smell of spoiled milk. Amazon gave me a refund for the defective items. And that was awesome of them. Other than those things to watch out for, this is a great buy and I'll probably make it a monthly purchase

I am vegetarian and do not cook much therefore it is not easy to get my protein requirements. (I also had a surgery that makes it more difficult for my body to absorb protein.) I use these to make shakes. I just add frozen strawberries and bananas and stick it in a magic bullet blender. If I am feeling energetic I add mixed berries or peanut butter, banana yogurt, whatever. These are a relatively think drink though do you do not have you add yogurt to make shakes, especially if you use bananas - I freeze the bananas first. They also taste much better too drink pain than any other protein drinks I have tried while having more protein than others. I like the chocolate flavor best. Be careful when purchasing add they do have the same thing with less protein. I believe it had less carbs too but the protein is more important to me. The individual boxes they come in are pretty sturdy if you want to throw one in a bag for lunch.

I originally purchased this product to help my wife gain the required protein needed to help her after a massive operation. Then I also tried it myself & found it beneficial in my hobby of weight lifting. It worked good for both of us and is tasty as well. Yet, I still think it a bit pricey.

Has a bit of a pea aftertaste as reported by others, but I’ve tried the chocolate ones, and they’re not bad. They also do a good job of keeping you full if using as meal replacement. I put in blender and added a banana and one tablespoon of peanut butter, and it helps the taste a lot and keeps me full for 5-6 hrs.

I just updated this review and changed from 5 star to 1. I am so bitterly disappointed. I drank these for years, daily. I absolutely loved them and promoted them to everyone I know. Now: they are RANCID. They have not only changed the flavor to something that can only best remind me of the smell of a public urinal, but they are so goopy they won't even pour out of the container. I am done with these forever.

The pea protein ruined the flavor. I called the company to find out about the switch and they said it was to make the consistency thicker. This is BS. The cookies and cream is so thick now I could use it as mortar to lay bricks . It was clearly a cost cutting move by a large company (Abbott). Pea protein can be good - Vega makes a great powder that contains pea protein that is great (I also reviewed it on Amazon). Amazon or sellers, you need to change your ingredient list for this item. Unfortunately, still the best cost/protein value in RTD

This was mentioned exclusively in Tim Ferriss’ book The Four Hour Body and I have been hooked since. Great taste and lost ~30lbs with it in combination with better foods and exercise.

This stuff is convenient and awesome tasting. I have two every day for my lunch (I eat two lunches) meal replacement since my work is often too busy to take a break to eat a meal.
