Pull Up Assist Bands-Red

I added the resistance band to my workouts about 2 weeks ago and I have noticed a real difference in my training, strength, and recovery. I seem to be hitting my muscles deeper and at different angles due to the additional effort to stay stable while using the band. This has been a great addition for my overall development and strength.

I use these bands now in my older age (56) and they are better than weights. Bought my first pair from Sports Authority. The band lasted a few years before it snapped. Bought this latest one and I like it better. The resistance is greater and I get more out of it. Builds muscle mass while keeping me sinewy and flexible. I use it before I play tennis to warm up my pecs and shoulders. Don't know how long it will last. Only had it a month now. But, so far so good!

Honestly I thought I was getting the whole pack of different colors and I was disappointed when I just got the red. It seems durable at first but i feel like with every use I'm stretching it thinner and one of these days it's gonna snap on me. it's the most reasonably priced resistance band, but I wanted it to learn to do pull-ups with and just the red one is too thin for that. Ok band, wouldn't purchase again though.

I've been doing bodyweight workouts for a while, and rings were my most recent investment before this red band. (NOTE: This order only brings you the red band. I also ordered the purple one separately.) I wasn't going to be able to use the rings during the winter, and I don't have either a gym membership or a fancy at-home gym—the red (and purple) band(s) were going to be part of my winter workout solution. Two Youtube fitness instructors, Bruce Willow and AlphaDestiny, gave me multiple reasons for this lightest band. Willow noted that the red band is great for training joints and smaller muscle groups: triceps, biceps, shoulders, upper back, and even pecs a bit. My back has always felt difficult to warm up and train, but I could already feel a lot of blood flow and tension after my first use of the red band. I also have slightly hypermobile elbows, so full extension usually leads to discomfort. AlphaDestiny has very hypermobile elbows and said that using this red band to develop connective tissue work had helped him to overcome the limitations of his hypermobility. Thus far, my elbows have felt fine—might take a few more weeks to testify to real potential of it, though, for that use. Essentially, this band sort of killed 4–5 birds with one stone: it expanded the possibilities for my winter routines, it's great for joint and back work (the former for all fitness levels, the latter for beginner and intermediate folk), it's great for warming up, it seems to be benefitting my hypermobile elbows, and it's easy to take on travels! If the band breaks anytime soon, I'll try to post an update or edit this post. Overall, I would recommend this!

I have bought 4 of these in the last month. I have used it and was so impressed with it during my working outs that I have purchased additional bands for my Father and two co-workers. All of these bands are not the same. I have purchased bands from different companies in the past to compare them. They don't all have the same type of elasticity or range. The POWER GUIDANCE brand is very impressive. I use mine every day. I primarily use mine for a lot of core workouts so, it's really getting some heavy use. I plan on purchasing more of thicker bands as my strength increases...almost ready for the black one.

So far so good with these bands. I have lost 85 lbs and have another 10-15 pounds to go. One of my fitness goals besides the weight loss, is to be able to do pull-ups. I was told that the pull-up assist machine was not beneficial as you don’t truly engage your core and the other muscles needed to do a pull-up. These bands were suggested so I bought all five sizes. So far I am only on the largest band but they are definitely worth getting. These bands will help me reach my goals. They are very strong. I am 205 lbs and it takes my weight no problem.

Man this band is a P.O.S. I have bought several of these over the years and this is the first brand that came like trash. This thing so damn stiff and it popped in the first week. What a piece of crap.

I have bought this band three times, not because I wore it out (I have not). I bought it as a gift for two different friends who wanted to get something simple that was going to give them both a good workout during these interesting times. These kind of bands are a great place to get a good workout anytime anywhere and they travel extremely well too.

It broke after one week and I never got the refund. It was the second one I bought from them because the first one was pretty good and I still use it to this day. The second one came unbranded but the first one was branded power guidance so maybe that’s why the second one broke so fast. Because of that I’m am not buying from them anymore so I don’t recommend it.

Arrived on time. The bands are OK but not as nice a feel as others I have purchased previously.

I bought the red one and it seems like it's quite durable and allows for a whole range of exercises and stretches.

I purchased the red one and will get the black one next. I use mine all the time and for everything! Literally. They’re perfect!
