This product is very good at checking USD currency. It identifies the currency denominations correctly. It totals the number scanned of each denomination. It even totals the number of bills you’ve tested.What really sets this Cassida product apart from its competitors sold on the Amazon platforms is the corporate customer service support, in my case the senior management for customer support (I’ll refer to her as MM).When I experienced what I thought was a complete failure of the Quartto, I sent it back, with a very frustrated note demanding my money be refunded, fully. MM, contacted me via a phone call, explained what I did wrong while using the device and asked if I wanted it returned. I said no, because the device did not even work to check any currency. I requested a different, brand new Quartto be sent (different serial number of course), free of charge. MM agreed, Cassida agreed, and the replacement was shipped back.I now have a fully functioning, fully operational, brand new Cassida Quartto!Thank you MM, thank you Cassida!

Great product works great and best for business

Tech support from cassida is great and very responsive. The product itself is easy to use, but they cannot detect counterfeit bills consistently. I've already emailed tech support with my concerns but haven't heard back from them. There are new fake bills that are being passed that this machine cannot detect. I've already had over $300 in fake $50 go thru this machine showing it passed. I can't recommend this device, quattro or instacheck, as both machines failed to detect the fake bills. I have another bill detector that was able to determine the $50 was fake but unfortunately Cassida's machine didn't pass that test.

I thought this would be perfect for my business. It’s small and compact. This is a good product to have for emergency for any business. This Quattro is designed for use anywhere counterfeit detection may be needed and its rechargeable battery means access to power is not required. And anyone can use it easy with the digital display clearly reports pass or fail for checked bills along with their denomination. I do not have any problem using it, but if I have a problem just make sure that the machine is properly closed before use. I can see the recommended helpful since I use lot of the time daily with all cash I have been through the customers. So, all the worn and dirty bills can cause the machine to get dirty, I take the recommend that the customer follows the user guide to properly clean the machine after heavy use. It also has four way scan: that I can insert a bill in any of the 4 possible orientations and this Quattro will verify its authenticity. It is easy to put together and understand, and literally took less than 5 minutes for putting it together. I also wanted one when I went to the banks, but I thought it would be too much. I thought the price was reasonable for it’s to be an automatic counterfeit detector. I tested it and was please how fun it was to learn how to use. It is fast and very clear. I am very lucky that I have never seen counterfeit money in my business before.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The gas station down the street ran a counterfeit $100.00 bill through this machine, that I had received at my business. They ran it through this exact machine. I was so impressed and wanted to avoid anymore counterfeit bills. Glad I did because it saved me from someone trying to pawn more counterfeit bills just days after I bought it. Super quick and efficient. Only issue is it doesn't recognize or pass on the first try - takes several tries.

if you are pizza delivery driver as me you can understand how easy to life with this machines.I was looking for portable counterfeit detector in my car for check cash bills when i was doing my pizza delivery work.My honest detail review;After i make little search on web and read a lot of good and bad reviews i decided to choose Cassida brand.Item is lighter and smaller than what i was thinking this is very good because you can even put inside of pocket of your hoodie.When i was ordering this item i was thinking to i can use with converter in my car during delivery times and when i received item i see that it is already created with battery slot! whichone makes me very happy! (For Portable use battery is not include but you can buy easily)Detector is real fast, just show it bills in it and shorter than a second checking will be done.Detector lights real bright, very easy to use even night darker time you can use easily.Till this time im actively using this detector and never had any issue even wrinkle bills.I had a chance during this time to try for $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 and no issue. (Even very wrinkled bills)Before i buy this detector i read some bad reviews about detecting issue, i think seller improved this detector somehow because everyday actively using 6-7 hours and still working well.

This is like just about any bill checker. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It is constantly shutting itself off and you have to wait a few moments when you turn it back on or you have to reset it yourself with a little switch in the back. It has passed fake bills as real and real bills as fake. It's not reliable.

Hi - I purchased this scanner to use in New Zealand.The size of the currency notes were too wide for the scanner and for the $5.00 that did fit was not recognised and so failed.
