This study guide was extremely helpful. It not only has sample questions, it breaks down the important information you may have needed some additional review for. Loved the key words included. I purchased this within 30 days of my exam and studies at least an hour each day. I used this along with the sample exam provided by ETS. I passed me exam and performed better than the notes “average,” and even had a perfect score in some domains. It’s helpful.

Wow! I absolutely recommend this study resource for the SLLA 6990. Correlates with the NELP standards. I reviewed daily for four weeks. Watched the YouTube videos as well. The readings and practice questions allowed me to think through scenarios. The rationale explanations for practice questions were extremely helpful. Took exam with confidence…passed and by far exceeded my state score expectations. Key terminology and language in study guide was on point. Constructed response strategies were on target! Do not pass up on this study guide!

This book not only reviews important topics for the SLLA but gives you amazing test strategies. I consider myself a good test taker and recently finished my administration program. However, I think a lot of passing this test is strategy. She guides you through how to think about the questions. And she gives you tons of practice questions. I would definitely recommend buying this and it’s a good help with real life scenarios.

I purchased this book along with the audio resources and I am thankful! The constructed response examples and explanations were useful and relevant. I passed on the first try! The SLLA 6990 is not an easy exam and is very expensive. This is not an exam that I wanted to take more than once. The resources provided by Kathleen Jasper gave me the confidence that I would be successful on assessment day. Thank you!

This book helped me prepare for my Praxis and I felt confident going in to my test. At first I doubted the way it was set up and I felt like the questions in the chapter were way too easy. TRUST THE PROCESS! This book is great. The only thing I was frustrated by were the many typos and inconsistent formatting throughout the book. At times it was distracting. For example, there is a table in one chapter that has the same heading for both sides of the chart, even though one should say something different. Please fix typos and formatting. Overall, 10/10 recommend for anyone studying for their SLLA 6990 praxis!

I purchase this about three weeks before I took my test. This was a very help test prep. It breakdown the categories. I use this to study over the categories that I did not do well on when I took the practice test. You should be successful on your test if you follow the strategies in the book.
