Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt star in this sci-fi action feature based on the light novel 'All You Need Is Kill' by Hiroshi Sakurazaka. New Special Forces recruit William 'Bill' Cage (Cruise) is equipped with a powered exoskeleton and sent on a mission to fight a fierce alien race known as Mimics, who are ultimately unstoppable. Cage soon dies in combat but, caught in a time loop, he finds himself very much alive and once again facing the same battle. This process repeats itself several times but with every fight Cage grows stronger and more adept. He meets tough warrior Rita Vrataski (Blunt) and together they try to bring down the enemy once and for all.

There is nothing better than watching Tom Cruise die over and over again. :-) Seriously great movie.

Interesting concept and great special effects but some confusing aspects
This is a Groundhog Day + alien invasion story in which Tom Cruise's character lives through a set of events until he dies and then it repeats all over again. While he remembers everything, others do not. Eventually he realizes that he is not alone and that he can effect changes to break out of the unending cycle. The story and acting are very good for this science fiction/fantasy movie although there is a fair amount of violence and destruction. A similar Tom Cruise movie in the same genre, "Oblivion", was more believable scientifically in addition to having a great sound track by the group M83. If you like this movie then check Oblivion too.

I've seen Tom Cruise in many films, but this one is more realistic !

Great Movie
Excellent on Tom and Emilys' part. Very great acting, as you would expect.My case came damaged, but movie played well.

Damn this Was Good
I bought this a year ago and I can't even remember who recommended it to me. But my wife and I finally watched it. Damn it was good. I can't even remember the last time I saw a Hollywood movie that I really enjoyed. Buy it. Watch it. Enjoy a movie again.
