It looks good, but having issues with both power and connection to camera.
I don't want to say bad things about this cable. It looks good. That said, I'm having connection and power issues with it. At the bench, connecting it up everything works fine. When I add this cable in line, everything stops working. This points to the cable having issues. I tried using the PoE option of the camera. The ethernet part of the cable does not seem to like that either. It's only 16 feet. Why so many issues? Even tried a larger power supply with no change. Sad.... I can't return it with out cutting the cable. If I figure this out....I'll update. Update: The ethernet part does support Poe. I added a small unit to that 16 foot cable and it works fine. As for the power side. I'm going to guess that the plugs don't match my camera. If so, that's my fault. I have upped the stars to 5 and I'll try to find the power plug answer.
